Well made, excellent value
My wife works at a grocery store and needs to be masked all day. She has one mask that looks like one of these, and she's had to wash and dry it daily. Other masks that loop around her ears cause soreness after a while. I've been using a couple of masks I made myself out of old T shirts, and while basically functional, were easy to spot as having been made by a non-sewer. I'm impressed with the quality and comfort of these masks as well as the very reasonable price. With only three people in our household we didn't need 48 masks, but it was a great value compared to the plethora of cheap polyester masks that are $15-$30 apiece on Amazon. I'm grateful to Gildan not only for gearing up to manufacture these masks, but also for making them affordable (83 cents apiece). The triple thickness and combination of cotton and synthetic materials is a good combination of breathable and effective. The homemade mask I've been wearing is a double thickness of cotten T shirt material, and can be hard to breathe through (especially when it's hot). You can wear the Gildan mask for an extended period of time in relative comfort. I'm a big guy with a roundish face, and the mask fits me well. Overall it's the best non N-95 mask I've seen for any price, and both well-made and affordable.

Awesome white masks
Worth the cost. These masks fit really well because you can tie them in 2 places according to your own head, so you feel safely covered. Get over the fact that you have to tie them or that they are white. What makes up for this are the triple layers, the great fit (covering down over your chin), they are washable (I hang to dry), and are soft and breathable. I actually prefer the ties to the loops over the ears, which rarely fit and cause gaps. I now have some to share with our adult son and other family with plenty left over for my husband and I. Perfect for wearing to work and still have a fresh and clean one the next day. Over all, a smart purchase for us.

Well Made, Good Value, Works with Glasses...if Modified (Here's How)
Overall Impressions Just received them and I am pleased with this purchase. I am a large male of English descent with a prominent (i.e., 'big') nose; plus I wear glasses. This mask fits me well, and expands to cover my face from above the bridge of my nose to the point where my chin meets my neck (yes, I'm pleased to report that I still have a bit of chin/neck delineation at my advanced age). The mask when fully expanded is taller than it is wide, which is fine for me. The ties allow a secure, comfortable fit. The cloth is good quality, very soft and comfortable and allows adequate airflow. Solution for Glasses Fogging Now, my protruding schnozzola did create a bit of an air gap at the top of the mask which caused fogging of my glasses. Fortunately, I was able to implement an easy solution. I happened to have some soft 1/8" aluminum armature wire commonly used for creating forms for clay sculpting. I cut a length of this wire to ~5.5", which is almost equal to the width of the mask. I then used an awl to poke a hole in one end of the trim strip at the top of the mask and inserted the wire into it, pushing it all the way across the width of the mask inside the trim (see pic). I then bent the wire in the mask to conform to my nose and cheeks and now there is NO FOGGING. It's not even necessary to sew in or glue the wire in place. It stays snugly nestled inside the little trim strip just fine. And it is easily removed when it comes time to launder the mask. You can find a spool of armature wire here on Amazon or at an art/hobby supply store for under $10. The 1/8" diameter wire had the perfect balance of malleability and stiffness for this purpose. NOTE: I had considered buying some flat, adhesive-backed aluminum strips to use for this, but I'm glad I held off and used the armature wire instead. I think the aluminum strips may be a bit too wide to fit inside the trim and I can't imagine the adhesive would hold up too well if applied to the outside, whereas the 1/8" wire was just the right shape and size. Summary So, half a star off for having to find a DIY solution to the nose strip/fogging problem, and another half star off for having to buy 48 of these things at one go (I mean, why not market these at five for $15 or ten for $20?). Still, at less than a buck per mask these are an excellent value; and to my tree-hugging, plastics-hating, penny-pinching self, reusable is preferable to disposable. Happily, with so many extra masks on hand now, I'll be able to passive-aggressively give them out to those domestic terr...er, brave freedom fighters I see going without in public places. Hope this helps with your decision. Keep well!

More comfortable, ergonomic, and durable than most masks. No chance of snapping strings.
Whilst a bit pricy to spend 40$ for masks, you're getting 40 good-quality masks. I would say that the only downside is that you have to tie these. There are two sets of straps that you have to tie around your face in order to wear. The upside is that you get a very custom fit because you can tie them as tightly or loosely as you'd like. Furthermore, the straps are much thicker and more rugged than those cheap/thin little white/blue masks most people are wearing. They're washable, too, which means you can re-use them. From a safety perspective, they're also larger than most masks so there's no issue with them covering up your face and chin, too. Being able to tighten them to your liking can also help you out if you wear glasses: having a tighter fit can prevent your breathing to fog up your glasses. Overall, I'm not regretting that I bought these. It comes with a lot in the package, and I think the comfort and durability alone is well worth it. I bought these because I used masks with thin straps, and they'd often break. It wasn't very fun when you're at a store with only one mask on hand, and the string snaps before you even get in the store. You shouldn't have to worry about things like that. Thus, buy these face masks. :)

Little on the small side for starters...
I have been wearing these for about 3 months now, and I only use about 4 a week so the full amount of them last a long time. Here's what I have found so far... Pros: - Affordable. - Quite a lot in a package, great value. - 3 layers with polyester on the outside and soft (flannel feeling) cotton on the face side. - Easily washable (I use a mesh zipper bag to keep them from clumping/knotting in the wash). - Sizing from over the nose down the neck is great coverage. - *** After buying another parties metal nose clip, you can work it down the nose loop to allow for a closer fit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS! Cons: - Stitching is a mixed bag (literally), but usable. - Sizing is on the very narrow side (ear-to-nose-to-ear) and feels like the elastic on the sides do not make a solid seal. - The tie straps are about 4" short (6cm or so) from being long enough to be solid and usable. I've had to rip about 4 masks off my face/cut them because I can't find the tail of the bow I tie. Mixed bag... - I have a larger head, and as such the over the ear masks tend to hurt after prolonged use. I found and purchased these because you can "set" the ties when you first put them on and they can stay all day while still being comfortable and in place (I used to weld before web development, so these vs a welding mask is no problem). That being said, they are not a "fast on and fast off" mask. They are really for long-term use/wear only.

Pretty ideal non-medical mask
Good sizing, comfort, filtration and cost per mask. These masks are well sized, with adjustable ties instead of ear-loops. The mask can be converted to an ear-loop style by simply tying the strings on either side together, which makes fitting it to a variety of faces a simple task. For extended wear, the tie-back style is perfect, as it relieves the ear-tugging pain that some people get with ear loop style masks. The three layer design is breathable and comfortable, as the inner layer is a smooth polyester which wicks moisture away from the skin and feels almost silk-like against the skin. The only trick is figuring out which side is which, as there is no simple visual way to identify which is which (the poly side feels much smoother and feels cooler than the cotton). A small mark with a fabric marker would make it much easier to find which side is the 'wear' side. The uploaded picture has the cotton side on the left, poly side on the right so you can see the difference (or lack of). If you wear glasses, you will have significant fogging unless you add a nose wire of some sort, as some others have pointed out, poking a piece of craft wire into the top seam should be a simple way to address this issue. Also, this mask seems to have good filtration, but would not be a good candidate for exercising with, as the three layer design would restrict heavy breathing. All in all, this is a great price for a bulk quantity of quality washable masks. With a simple to use and adjust fit system, you can use them for everyone in the family, and the cotton layers lend themselves to coloring with dyes or markers for customization. If you don't get these, please get something to cover your face with in public. I wear these for you, please wear something for me, thanks!

High Quality
The nicest quality of all the cloth masks I've ordered. Pros: large enough for even the biggest guys, very soft overall, tightly knit cotton lining, breathing is easy and it's washable! Cons: mask has ties, inner layer doesn't have an opening to insert a filter and there is no metal adjuster over the nose area. You can modify the mask by cutting the strings to shorten/tacking them to opposite sides of mask and add a filter by snipping open one side of the inner lining and then adding a stick-on metal strip. Adding the filter provides the 3 layers of protection that is now recommended. If Gildan wants to make 'the perfect cloth mask,' the company can provide the filter pocket, metal adjuster and over-the-ears stretch strings. Still a very high quality mask and a very good value for the money. If Gildan modifies the masks, they would, of course, cost more but would still be a good value.

Soft, comfortable mask with ties
As a retired RN that worked in the OR the idea of a mask with ties appealed to me because it is easier to adjust the tightness and fit on the face. These are almost perfect. I do think they could be a little wider and the ties could be a little longer. I could not tie the top tie into a bow because it wasn't quite long enough, but double tying without a bow is probably better since coming untied while it is worn isn't a good thing. The bottom ties were long enough to tie in a bow. This is very comfortable, can be reused, and I liked having a lot of them. I keep a supply in my car, and take them in after use and just throw them in with my regular wash. I don't know if they would be big enough for someone with a big head or a beard. They are made in the Honduras of US cotton. They do not have a metal nose piece but I purchased a roll of wire for jewelry making and poked it through the edge of the top of the mask and it works perfectly. Just pull the wire out when washing in the washer or it can be left in if hand washed. If you don't like the elastic around your ears and like the idea of a reusable, washable mask this is a good alternative.
