Update 25/4: I have used around 50,000 pulses on my arms, legs and bikini areas. I definitely did not use the device as frequently as I planned after the first 3 weeks but I had been doing around 1-2 sessions each week afterwards: Legs - calf: 80% reduction - Thigh: 60% reduction in the back, 70-80% reduction in the front Arms - forearm: 90% reduction - hindarm: 65% reduction - underarm: 70% reduction Bikini - 20-30% reduction Hair also grows back much slower and thinner! Now I have a session around once a week when I feel like it. I definitely think that this is the best device I have invested. Obviously it’s not as effective as laser but for the price and effect I am very impressed! Tips - if you see some black spot deposit build-up on the glass service, you can remove them with antibacterial wipes - make sure you shave thoroughly or you will smell funny after each session Original Review Having tried more expensive IPL in the market (THREE other machines) and was bloody pissed off by their sensors, I was initially reluctant to give this a shot. Needless to say re this 5-star review I am impressed! I am supposed to use this daily for 3 weeks then 3 times/week and I have just completed my first day. BUT I am already 100% floored by the sensor- it emits light with every click. This means that the session can be completed really quickly, which is genuinely a very important priority. The other three devices somehow would take 2 seconds to 1 minute to detect my skin (to emit each pulse), or would require a break after 5-6 clicks etc., which was in short a total nightmare. I also had an allergic reaction to one of them I don’t even know where to start!! This device is well made, easy to grip and the light feels solid (unlike the other three that felt a bit flimsy, which probably explained their poor effect). It is painless but I know it is doing its thing properly. I have sensitive skin and I don’t have any issue with this device too! Will keep this post updated on how the treatment goes!

When you compare the price of salon laser to this fantastic device, there is NO REASON why you should not get this product! This device actually works, and I’ve been using it regularly to get rid of hair on my bikini line, legs, face and underarms. The key with this product is persistence. You can’t expect miracles over night, but if you need to use it constantly and on the highest level you will see amazing results! It’s not painful at all to use, and it’s very easy and nice to hold. I was quite surprised by this item. I've used it about 5 times (about twice a week) and while I know the results will be apparent in another 4 weeks, it is very easy to use and the instructions are detailed and easy to understand. I use it on my bikini line and worked my way up to the second highest setting (level 4) and I feel a slight discomfort but certainly nowhere near the breathtaking pain of waxing. It takes 3 minutes of my time after I hop out the shower in the morning. I am very pleased with the price, value for money and effectiveness. It is definitely worth a try and it pays for itself in no time if you usually go to a beautician for IPL treatments. Don't hesitate!

You will have to use this product consistently for a few months to see results. My hair grows back lighter now. The product is easy to use and I like the auto-mode too as it saves time. I try to use it every week or every two weeks.

I have dark hair and pale skin so am supposedly the perfect candidate for this device. The device is very easy to use. I used it at the highest setting, every day for two months on my right shin and on both armpits as a test (I really wanted to use it on my face but wanted to be sure it would work first). I then let my hair grow naturally for a week. My armpit hair started growing back immediately and looks no different from normal (as pictured). My right shin, however, seems to have experienced better results and has barely grown back at all, in comparison to my left shin which I did not treat so that I could compare the growth. I have had a Hollywood laser treatment at a clinic before which was expensive but far more quick and convenient (and painful). The results, however, weren’t permanent but did last well. I feel this device is a less reliable method than a laser clinic but doesn’t come with the hefty price tag but is more of an ordeal as it requires consistent use with unpredictable results. ***update*** I have now ascertained with time that the positive results I experienced on my shin are NOT permanent. My hair grew back eventually on my legs after initially having positive results. After persisting with other areas of my body (arm pits and neck), there has been absolutely no change to the hair growth. Don’t waste your money. A very time-consuming experiment which unfortunately failed.

Its no overnight cure, and anyone expecting miracles will be disappointed, but if you persevere and use it as the instructions say, consistently and on a high level, you WILL see incredible results. I first made sure to check the skin chart, before ordering, that I was compatible and thankfully I was. In a matter of weeks the hair on my legs were finally thinning out, and now its almost gone. I have also used it on my bikini line, underarms, and am beginning to use it on my chin. I would absolutely recommend this product! It came with a razor, dermaplaner, beauty bag and extremely clear and easy instructions - and is perfect for when I am travelling and don’t want to stop treatment. Fantastic value!
