Most bang for your buck hands down!
Worth every penny! You get the most bang for your buck with this product. I was rehabbing an injured frog and decided to buy this for his substrate and he loved it so much. He healed up nice and got big and fat in his terrarium and made many homes inside this bedding. Itโs safe and is of good quality and you get so much of it in just one brick you can afford to change it often to keep it clean. You wonโt regret buying this! Would be awesome for full time terrarium owners who need a constant flow of good quality bedding!

Quality husks
Very safe and versatile for praying mantis eggs. Quality and hold water enough to use even with plants.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ A Little Goes a Long Way โ Perfect for My Jumping Spider
Iโm really happy with this bedding. A tiny bit goes a super long way, which makes it great value. It keeps my jumping spiderโs enclosure at a steady, comfortable temperature and holds moisture just right without getting soggy. My little jumper seems perfectly content in it. If you keep jumping spiders or other small inverts, this is a great choice.

Great For Beetle
Keep monster well, doesn't smell too strong, and easy enough for my Beetle to dig in. I had no issues hydrating it, it was quick, eventually moiste, and broke down easily and leaving enough for storage.

Finer, Fluffier, and Softer Substrate
Finally, a coconut substrate that isn't full of long fibers! The fibers are far shorter and finer than all of the other coconut substrates I've tried, making this the softest, fluffiest substrate I've ever found both, coconut based and not. It also holds moisture well and doesn't get compressed or packed down the way other substrates do, making it perfect for my salamander enclosure. It's also significantly cheaper than the substrate mix I normally buy, especially considering how much substrate you get once the brick is fully hydrated. I will warn you, though, that the process of rehydrating and fluffing this substrate is rather messy. It makes a LOT more than you expect! Fortunately, it's also a breeze to clean up. Overall I'm very happy with this substrate and not only will I recommend it to my fellow amphibian enthusiasts, I will also be purchasing it again in the future.

Good for growth of your plants.
This seems to be nutritional for my plants and helped with my seedling growth. It breaks off in chunks which are loose so easy to put in the pots. In my opinion it's a little more effective than potting soil.

Itโs perfect, the only brand I trust fr
Always lovely. I have no cons, and this little brick turns into more than enough to fill a terrarium. I have purchased twice. You can mix it 70% to 30% of playsand for a fat tailed gecko. You could also do a full water soaked brick mixed with a horticultural charcoal bag for a crested gecko terrarium. My terrariums are not currently housing Any isopod are sparing tails, but I will probably add them in the future and this substrate will be great for them as well. It worked out great in both reptile enclosures. I tried using a small amount in my jumping spiders enclosure as well, but she did not like soil at all, so I ended up having to completely remove it from her enclosure specifically.

Works like a charm!
Love to have these on hand for dirt changes. A little messier than a bag of dirt but also much cheaper!

Small but mighty!
Awesome quality reptile bedding and a little goes a long way. I bought thinking I would use the entire brick but when I fluffed it, half was all I need for my crested gecko enclosure. Great price and my gecko loves how it retains heat and humidity!

Lots of bedding!
Really good, makes lots of bedding. It does take a bit longer than 10 minutes to fully absorb the water though, maybe give yourself closer to 30. I had a few clumps to break up but not difficult. Great value.

Good for many things
I cut pieces of with my power saw for plant, cactus & flower pots, worm bedding, lizard bedding, TONS of uses. A small piece expands in water quickly and retains moisture well. Only one star off because it's much cheaper in volume but most of us aren't using it for high volume hydroponics/ gardening so it kind of bugs me that it's getting so expensive and less finely chopped. Otherwise, it's a good product.

A pretty decent amount for the smaller brick
This is my first time buying coco coir and using it. I was using this coco coir for seed starting and one brick took me at least 2 litres of boiling water to expand properly. I would recommend trying to get a smaller chunk of the brick if you don't want to use a lot like others have said. No weird smells and a decent price for the amount you get. I'd buy it again.
