What is the maximum range the TP-Link will broadcast?

I have one out in my garage about 100' from the WiFi router in the house and it works fine. I put one in for my sister at her house that connects to ring cameras out at her bird house about 300' away. Her extender is near the window so there is little obstruction of the signal. I get a full signal on my phone out at the bird house. So I'm very pleased with the performance.

Is it dual voltage 110v/220v?I need an accurate answer.

This question is quite valid. I travel often for work and I use a range extender: 1. to boost weak hotel WiFi and 2. to add a layer of encryption. World voltage (100-240v @ 50Hz or 60Hz) is necessary. Using a simple wall plug adapter, plug & play devices using world voltage work anywhere. Those limited to 100-120v @ 60Hz only work in No. America and few other places. Asking about 110v/220v is essentially the same question. For this product, the answer is Yes.

can i put different password aside from the main router password? so only me can use my extender.

If used in Wi-Fi Range Extender Mode, no - the extender must use the same password as the router. However, if you use the RE450 in Access Point Mode (in this mode the RE450 connects to the router via Ethernet cable), you can set a separate password and SSID. Best Regards, TP-Link Support
