Quikrete Liquid concrete dye
A highly concentrated dye for concrete driveway, walks or decorative steps. Makes fresh concrete look aged as apposed to bright gray. Easy to use just add to concrete mixture a little at a time. Iโve used it for years. Also available in colord for a special look.

Great stuff!
Loved this product! I didnโt put it in my concrete mix, I actually put it in a pump spray bottle and just sprayed it on. Took about 2 coats to get it were I wanted it and then sealed the concrete. Looks Amazing! Exactly the look I wanted for my outdoor kitchen.

Easy to control if you just need a little color or a lot.
We used this for mortar color, you can control this liquid way more than the powder form of concrete/mortar color to get the color to match existing mortar for brick walls.

Not impressed with color change.
Uh, I guess use like three times more than you think you'll need. I added nearly a whole bottle on a stair tread pour and it barely seemed to change the color. I wanted dark gray or even black but I ended up with light grey instead. will have to find a better way to dye concrete.

Perfect colorโฆso far
Hopefully the color Holds once it dries. I used 2 bottles for four 80# bags. I didnโt follow the bottle instructions. Just added half a bottle to each bag and mixed as normal.

Works well
I am very pleased with this colorant. I used 1 bottle to color 250 lbs of crack resistant cement (90 lbs more than bottle states it can be used for) and it is the perfect shade of grey. I was pretty lazy about measuring it, doing a 5 second pour into each bucket of water I used, and it came out more consistent than I expected. I wonder if people that had issues getting a good color didn't shake the bottle before using it, or maybe didn't realize how white uncolored cement is when dry. I'm very happy and have bought several more bottles to widen my new walkway.

Okay for use on dried cement.
Update: So, I wiped the paint off the countertops. Some of it actually did penetrate, so it looks pretty good with the dark charcoal/black mixed it, almost like a marble effect. I just need to find some type of sealant to add shine. Past comment: I used it for my concrete countertops that were already cured. I knew there was a chance that it would not saturate, but I had to test it for myself sincesome had success on dried concrete, while others did not. It does not come out charcoal, but black on already dry countertops. It rubs off like coal at the touch. A sealer would possibly keep it in. I'm give it 3 stars because I do not know if it works well if poured in before the concrete set/dry. I think it would, but I didnt try so I don't know.
