Absolutely NOT 600ft. This spool had barely 500ft of poor quality poly rope. (506ft.)What sort of rip-off nonsense is this!? Good grief Amazon! You are quickly becoming nothing more than a very sketchy Craigs List-esque marketplace selling all this unfit, low-quality, falsely-advertised junk from China. And worse, you then act as though you are doing customers a favor by “allowing” us to return items that should never have been sold in the first place! I am about at the end of my rope, no pun intended, and you are about to lose a Prime customer! Last week it was simple desk fans with unattached fan blades. This week it’s a simple 600’ spool of poly rope with only 506’ of rope on it!As for my fellow shoppers, avoid this item like the plague because you will not get what you paid for!

It doesn't stay tied well, but it seems pretty sturdy. I wish it came with rings that you could connect by braiding it to itself.
