(I have to put 4 stars, or my review will not appear.) Not useful for small spaces.
I am painting my small bathroom. I really dislike painting. I was hoping this sprayer would make things go fast. I thinned the paint to almost half water. I was planning on doing two coats. I began to spray. I made it over one wall and part of another wall and the cup was empty. I immediately refilled the cup with same mix....sprayer is clogged. I cleaned the tip...nothing. Unless you have a lot of space, like a workshop where you can constantly flush the tubes and the whole system, this really won't work. I don't have anywhere I can make a big mess to clean the thing after every pass/cupfull. After one pass, I'm tossing it and going back to roller and brush. Please learn from my expensive lesson.

Works well for thin(ed) paint
I got this as a refurb and it was dirt cheap. But everything worked, and even though it has a tendency to spit paint in ugly droplets if the pain is too thick, it does a pretty good job. I painted 6 doors in my back yard and found this to be sufficient to control the fan shape and rate of flow. It REALLY needs super-thinned paint to work, but cleans pretty easily and gave me no troubles. This is a pretty good value for the money and while it will not replace a good HVLP sprayer, it also requires very little skill or effort to get it working!

Careful if using extension cord
Was going to give this sprayer 1 star but with logic and patience, I called the customer support line. Painting outside, naturally you’d need an extension cord. I was painting a table with chalky paint. I would spray one side in one streak and and then stop. When I’d go to start the next streak, it wouldn’t turn on; id have to let it sit a minute or 2 for it to work again. I thought the paint was too thick so I slightly watered it. But now the sprayer wasn’t working at all! Every curse word was flying out of my mouth. Read the manual: useless. Troubleshooting section: no help. Called the support line and the first thing she said was the extension cord. Plugged the unit into the wall and BOOM back in business. Switched out to a different extension cord because I simply couldn’t work without one since the unit has such a short cord and no issues! Watering down the paint did help as well. Table is coming out beautifully.

Does not work well
Purchased for a project that involved simply spraying one 12X12 foot wall. In the beginning the sprayer seemed to be working well and then five minutes in started splattering paint, spraying half the volume, and then just stopped completely. We tried many different trouble shooting methods for a couple hours, including taking it apart multiple times, cleaning it, different settings, following paint thinning instructions to name a few. Nothing worked. It was late at night and all hardware stores were closed. Ended up using paint rollers which made the project look awful. Returned this gun the first thing in the morning. Had to purchase a different, more expensive, higher quality gun to fix project. There are still paint bubbles/texture on our wall where this gun was used. So disappointing but what can you expect for such a low price. It was worth the risk and trying.

Good quality but hard to figure out?
I redo furniture and was EXTREMELY excited for this product to arrive. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star review was because it is extremely difficult to figure out how to use. I am very tech savvy and normally can figure out how to modify things to work, but for some reason I can never get it to spray properly. It always either sputs and then shoots paint all over or barely comes out. I’ve tried diluting it and have aggressively cleaned it. I’d be open to advice if there’s some.

Doesn’t spray eventually. Not even close. Clomps everywhere
Sending it back. I got it to help paint furniture, but it’s too low quality even for a beginner like myself. Actually, that’s probably the problem. Since I’m not used to using a paint sprayer, it would’ve been wise to get one that’s higher quality to help erase some user error. Also, it’s way too messy for the small outdoor space in my apartment. I’ll use brushes and rollers for now

Great entry level sprayer
The Quick Finish is a great entry level HVLP sprayer for not a lot of $$$. I picked mine up for about $50 cdn and have no complaints. It is light, relatively quiet, and extremely easy to clean! Instructions are clear and straight forward. I strongly suspect many of the negative comments are due to using the wrong paint or incorrect settings. This sprayer is intended for small projects - furniture, cabinet doors, and other smaller items etc. If want to paint walls, fences, decks - consider HomeRights other sprayers. As an added note - I use it for applying ‘chalk’ paint, water based polyurethane, and some primers. All have sprayed perfectly.

Easy to Use
This paint spray gun is a high-performing tool that works flawlessly and stands out compared to other sprayers. It consistently delivers professional-grade results, though it has some limitations to consider. Pros: Smooth Operation: The sprayer works smoothly without interruption. Flawless Finishes: It produces a high-quality, smooth finish on surfaces. Reliable Nozzle: There are no issues with paint getting stuck or clogging the nozzle during use. Cons: Wired Design: Being a corded tool, its mobility and range are limited. Low Tank Capacity: The paint reservoir is small, requiring frequent refills during larger projects. High Paint Consumption: The sprayer uses more paint than anticipated, which can lead to needing to purchase more paint than planned.

I regret buying this. Not a Time saver
Painting is my nightmare. I hate it. I thought that buying this spray painter would make the task easier. It didn’t. Not one bit. It sprays paint all over the place including your face and other unwanted surfaces. Yes, I did read the instructions. The paint comes out in huge droplets and I needed to come back with a paintbrush to smooth out the surface. So much time wasted trying to make this thing work. I also felt that I had used more paint than what I should have. Finally at the end I accidently dropped it on the ground from knee high. The cheap plastic broke at two places. I gave it one star because... well... it does spray some paint.
