PAINTPEOPLE Chalky Furniture Paint (750ml, Natural Charcoal)

Great paint , covers well , bought plum colour and it’s changed my contemporary wardrobes to a period look - so really pleased . Only gripe is the long delivery period especially as I’ve needed another tin !!! Update my second tin came 4 days earlier !! So well done seller - clearly you take notice of your customers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used the colour Dark Magic on my fire surround. I highly recommend this paint. I have used other chalk paints and thought I was happy with the finish until I tried this. It has a lovely finish which makes it look very expensive. It is also an unusual colour. I didn't want a pure black colour, so this is perfect. It changes colour according to the light. It ranges from having a brown tinge to looking slighting aubergine. I have quite a lot left, so I think I'm going to paint the tiles on the fireplace too.

The colour but reason I gave 4 stars is that they recommended using the wax to finish off but this didn't seal the product despite saying that no primer was required. Paint easily got scratched and chipped. Don't like spray varnish (it just goes everywhere!) so purchased another brand's matt varnish that wasn't matt at all and changed the look of the colour so kinda feel that it was a bit of a waste... but if you can find the right finish for this it's super lovely!

I absolutely love this colour Mulberry Road it’s so rich & beautiful! I am going to do the kitchen cabinets next in the same colour & tie it all together. Highly recommend!

We had this traditional white ikea sideboard (pictured) that seemed a bit too bland so decided to purchase this paint to give it a refresh and also tie it in with the rest of the house. The blue is like a blue grey, almost a dull teal, but it’s really modern and has some warmth to it which is what I was looking for. The paint went on easily, it took three coats to do this piece but in places I could have done four. Each time it dried well overnight, and you could see the coverage building over the white. I chose to top this with a clear data in varnish afterwards just for durability but I don’t think you would have to. The main point about this paint is the colour, it really is lovely and flare at quality chalk paint for furniture.

This is a lovely quality paint, it’s got a smooth texture, a polished finish, it dries quickly and gives a super flat matte look. It came at a good price, it’s bright clean and covered in one coat. A beautiful green blue colour.

Good make used in other colours , but definitely wasn’t dark blue ! Disappointed sent back
