I ordered these files to replace the set I have been using for years, and can honestly say that I am happier with them than I thought I'd be considering the price being so low for the quantity.. brilliant wee set. Very versatile and great for many different jobs. I've been using them to add some fine detail to wood carvings and can't really fault them at this price, the only thing I'd say that feels a wee bit on the cheap side are the handles, but the actual files are great, and the case is surprisingly tough Brilliant product for the price Will definitely shop here again 👍

The files are small, the actual file bit is about the length of your index finger. They are ideal for those fiddly jobs like tidying the inside of a drilled hole. They have a variety of shapes so you should be we'll set up. Obviously not for *big* jobs as they are pretty diddy. The diamond files did a great job on some stainless steel I was working with. The supplied carrying case is a nice bonus and keeps everything together.

I needed a small file to shape a hole in a piece of carbon fibre composite. This is a severe application and .I was concerned that the metal file might blunt very quickly. There was a good selection of file shapes and there no problem at all. No obvious wear as it cut the material effectively. Very pleased. The storage case was a useful bonus to keep the files together. The metal and diamond files also came as two sets in their own plastic wallets as well.

These files are useful for light work and do what they’re supposed to do, especially for small adjustments, deburring, and detail work. The range of shapes included is good, and it’s handy having them all together in one set. However, the overall build quality isn’t the best. The plastic handles feel quite weak and don’t give a very solid or durable feel, especially if you need to apply more pressure. The storage case is also very flimsy and doesn’t hold the files securely, so they tend to move around or fall out when opening it. They’re fine for occasional or light use, but probably not ideal for heavy daily trade use. Overall, decent for the price, but the materials and case could definitely be improved.

I liked these when they arrived. Ergonomic handles, a file shape and roughness for any job too. Nice little carry case for them also. Nice touch. Now, be aware, these files are not the biggest. So, they will be good for jobs, but small jobs. Don't go thinking that you will be able to smooth down the burrs on a 40mm box section of steel with these. I bought them to smooth out, shape and take rough edges off the new PVC trunking I am installing for a AV project, They are fine for this. Also good for delicate jobs. Nice set of small files.

Bought these for filing down tiny burrs or imperfections on models. They come in a small case, with nice soft rubber grip handles and are incredibly easy to manipulate around models to get off all the little rough bits. I found myself using the diamond tipped ones more than the carbon, just because I found the carbon steel leaves a very small trace of black residue on my white prints. If I were to purchase again, I'd probably go for an all diamond set.
