I use this strap to attach my large djembe drum when seated during classes and performances
My drum is wide and heavy. Sitting down with the drum between my knees for hours (classes or performances) strains my hips. Attaching this strap to the drum and putting it around my waist lets me release the grip on the drum with my knees so that it's more relaxed and not so much stress on my aging hip bones! Can't beat the price and it's VERY adustable so I can fasten it around the drum and pull it tight when transporting it, release one end and lengthen when I'm ready to play it. Highly recommend for anyone needed the same seated playing comfort.

Awkward fit
The work if you are standing in place, but they are not going for marching as they slip off the waistline.

Helpful addition to a drum
The strap for the djembe drum was very helpful in elevating the drum to a position where I could really engage the drum.
