Really beautifully put together book.. Wonderful artwork / illustration that keeps your attention and helps to guide to where to read (As it doesn't have to be a 'linear' book as such).. Great, interesting information!

A great read for those who want to.

Quite an impressive encylopedia from DK publishing. Some of their publications are too general to be of use to someone with a deeper interest in the subject matter, but this is actually a very good history, with some absolutely fantastic images from pre-history to the modern day.

The recipient was delighted with this book. I took a cursory look at it before wrapping it up and was impressed by the production quality. I don't have much interest in the subject matter, but the recipient assures me that she's really impressed with the information that the book contains.

Very informative on the history of witch craft. Shows where certain customs come from Would recommend to any history lover. Also it looks great as a coffee table book

Can't wait to read it. Seems to be very interesting and has beautiful illustrations, covering a wide range of topics.

It goes into all cults & occultism an breaks it down with colorful pages that light up their wording.

Si quieres profundizar en el tema no lo recomiendo. Es un libro hecho a las prisas y con descripciones MUY breves de cada tema; adornado con imágenes bonitas y un diseño atractivo, pero nada más que eso. A parte muchos hablan de errores e incoherencias en la información, personalmente puedo decir que Wikipedia profundiza mucho mejor en cada tema, por ejemplo ¿hablar de los judíos sin hablar de la Kabalah?, eso es perezoso, simplista y generalista.

I bought this book because I fell in love with the visuals while browsing it on the net… and the physical version has not disappointed me. The book is chock-full of beautiful photographs and illustrations, and is an entertaining voyage into the genre.
