I was super stoked to see that these were available on Amazon. I didn’t even know these were a thing! They’re GREAT! Rice-A-Roni products are always awesome! They taste great and are super convenient!

It's obviously cheaper to buy the regular boxes of this and cook it on the stove. But that takes time. And access to a stove. And sometimes, you don't have either. But as long as you have a microwave, you can't beat getting a tasty meal in just a few minutes making one of these. FOOD HACK #1 If you're making this at home, keep a bag of shredded cheese handy. The four=cheese Mexican blends work best, because the cheeses used are better as "melting" cheeses. When you're done cooking the rice, add a tablespoon or two of the shredded cheese, and give it a quick mix. It both helps the rice to cool down a bit quicker (you get to eat sooner), and makes it more "cheesy." And nothing can ever be TOO cheesy. FOOD HACK #2 Know what this goes surprisingly well with? Tacos and burritos. ESPECIALLY burritos. I was making some shredded chicken burritos, my Wife and her friend each asked if I'd make them one. I fixed two cups of the broccoli cheddar rice. And then added a few spoons worth to each burrito made. Both my Wife and her friend were really surprised at how good the burritos were. Because they knew that I typically only add white rice to my own burritos. But the rice, cheese and broccoli harmonized perfectly with the other ingredients. So if you want to make a taco or burrito go from "okay" to "wow," try adding this as a secret ingredient. Other than that, go ahead and order them. Cheaper than what it's sold in stores for. And smarter to buy it in bulk. So that you've always got them handy. One less thing you have to remember to buy when you're going to the grocery store.

I mix them and put them in a bigger microwavable container because the water always overflows in the Rice-A-Roni container. Sometimes I make two and I double the microwave time and the texture isn't bad at all. The flavor is good also. I do let them sit in the microwave in additional 60 seconds after it stops cooking. I could have done without the pasta cups. I would prefer if they were all rice cups.

Great price for quantity. They come in good condition and are easy to make.

A few times they have been busted up and all over the box. But other than that I guess they're okay

Convient for my autistic child to eat it's her absolute favorite. She loves the texture and it's quick and easy to make for sure.

Literally add water, stir and heat, but watch your water level. One cup makes a surprising amount of rice.
