Works PERFECTLY!
This looks to be every bit as high a quality as the original part. Fit PERFECTLY. Works as advertised. Couldn’t be happier. Saved TONS of money doing it myself and not buying a genuine GE part, probably made by the same manufacturer.

Great price for original LG part! But see notes below.
Great price for original LG part! But see notes below.High end, over the oven, microwaves are very easy and cheap to fix. Mine is a GE Advantium oven that cost $1,100 new. The parts below were all under $75 and took about an hour to fix.1. Be sure to discharge the oven capacitor FIRST before doing any work inside. See YouTube on how-to.2. While you are at it, consider changing the "Diode" at the same time. They do go bad after a decade or so. Diodes are only about $10.00. A bad diode can ruin the Magnetron.3. Last, test the capacitor. Unlikely to be bad, but easy to check for short with VOM meter. about $12 new. Again see YouTube for videos on how the test.

Works great
It was an exact replacement (even the same OEM supplier) for my vintage 2007 GE JVM1640WJ 1000-watt Over-the-Range Microwave Oven. The hardest aspect of replacing the part was dismounting it from the wall and taking the covers off to get to where the actual part is located. A countertop unit would take a lot less time. There are suitable videos online for magnetron replacement. As for the actual part, it required a phillips screwdriver and otherwise was simple plug-in and took less than 15 minutes to remove and replace. I've been using it daily for 2-1/2 months and works like new.
