My cat has asked me to convey the following: Mreow. Mrrrow. Mew mew. MROW. Prrrrrr. Mew. Mrrrow mrow mrow. Prrrrr. Mew mew mew. MREOW. Mrrrow. Prrrrr prrrrr prrrrr. I have been asked to translate: the chicken is apparently superior to the tuna — though the tuna is also acceptable and will be consumed without complaint. The gravy situation is deeply appreciated. The pouch format earns extra points for the crinkling sound it makes when being opened, which serves as adequate advance notice that dinner is imminent and allows sufficient time to begin meowing at full volume from the other room. As the human responsible for the actual purchasing and reviewing: Hill's Science Diet is a solid, vet-recommended brand for senior cats, the pouches are easy to open and portion, and the variety pack keeps things interesting. For a 7+ cat who needs quality nutrition with the palatability to actually eat it, this delivers. My cat has added one final note: Mew. I believe that means four stars and "order more."

My cat would eat the gravy and leave the chunks. Will not buy again.

This is the only brand of food we give our cats. Sadly I am having trouble finding this product in the store so I’m having to buy it on line.

I really trust Hills Science Diet. Its the most consistently veterinarian recommended Diet. However, cats being cats, my three just weren't too happy with it. They would eat it eventually, but I don't like wet food sitting out for hours, just doesn't seem healthy. So, I will stick with the other vet recommended Diet of Fancy Feast pate ( just read the label and make sure there's no wheat gluten in it).

My BILA went nuts over this! My cat loves gravy but usually leaves the chunks behind. This stuff is expensive but my fur babe just got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism so I want her to be healthy and happy. She absolutely LOVES this food. I do have to squish the pieces up with a fork, but that's very easy to do. She is now gaining weight, she had lost a ton B4 her diagnosis, and her fur is soft and shiny. She is playful and energetic again. I found out that canned wet food can cause hyperthyroidism in cats. I had no idea. I was poisoning my cat thinking was feeding her. Read and research your pet's food before feeding them. I learned the hard way. This could have been prevented if they put a warning on the cans of wet food. This is a great brand, pricey, but worth it for my BILA!

My cat doesn't puke up this food so I guess that's a win.

Error on my part and didnt read. i thought these were the can version lol. The cat likes it but ill stick with the can version since i find it less messy and easier to take out and save for the later day. I give these as a treat for the cat twice a week. I like adding a bit of water to the catfood but this make it a bit dificult because of the juice already in it to help keep the food moist.. Also cant really reseal unless put in a ziplock bag to use later in the day or it dry out. Not easy to open even with the pre slit tab. Tend to make a mess so i use scissor instead to get a proper open. Also bag pouch cant be reycle i think.
