Needs a hairdryer... but after that, good!
The seller is selling themselves short on these! They arrive packed in some sort of vacuum pack, very flat and very thin. Take them out of that and you have 12 pieces of very flat, very thin foam: you're going to look at them and think, 'Is that it?! They wouldn't insulate a cricket chirp!' The trick is to get a hairdryer and blow at the highest setting on each foam mat in turn: the mat will 'inflate' to its proper size as you do so. Be sure to do both front and back sides. A gentle warming on top of a radiator over night won't do it; a blow of a hairdryer on low or medium heat won't really do it either. A short, sharp and even burst of quite hot air will do, however. After which, the panels will be self-evidently quite thick and bulky and up to the job of a bit of effective sound insulation/deadening. I attach a video showing what happens when you get the hairdryer technique working properly.

96 panels failed!
I had 96 of these and all were defective, either partly crushed or completely crushed and or some yellow discolouration. Iv tried allowing them to warm up or heated them on to bounce them back up but they are far to damaged and hadn't came back. Be very careful when dealing with this seller ! When these are sent to you they are in a very small parcel vacuum packed. Some once you've got them out they are impossible to get back unless you happen to have the same equipment as they do, which is unlikely. The packaging would be to destroyed to use. You carnt get you money back unless you can send the products back. It's plain to see here that some have taken advantage of that as an excuse to send faulty products and keep the money. Even with photo evidence that they previously accepted that the products are defective! I'll pursue a refund as its my legal right to do so and they have acted against that. I'd strongly suggest any onlookers bypass these sellers and look elsewhere. A few good reviews dosnt outweigh the bad and dosnt mean it wouldn't be you next.

***** Correct as billed - Read this to prepare correctly *****
I bought this product to cut down on sound reflections in my vocal booth. Most important is understanding what this product is and how to use it. An earlier review calling these 'Garbage' grabbed my attention, on reading it became clear the buyer did not know how to work with this product. The tiles come vacuum packed and need to be prepared, see my before and after pictures. The original package was about two inches think and around ten by ten square (little off square). After an hour unpacked the tiles (stacked) expanded to about 6.5 inches (see picture) each tile was only 15mm (yes I've gone metric now). To expand them I recommend a gentle waft with a Hairdryer, you can see them 'pop' to square tiles with sharp peaks as you go. Each tiles then reaching 25mm (about an inch as billed) and 12 inches square (see picture). The whole stack now measuring 11 inches even though they are compressing each other (see picture). Are they square? Well yes otherwise they couldn't be laid out as in final picture. Did the 'Garbage review' have a point? These are not self adhesive and this shouldn't be in the product title. I can't rate five stars as from a consumer experience there should be instructions included regarding how to prepare this product and they should not claim to be 'sound proofing' they are not - they ARE sound absorbing. Would I buy again? Yes absolutely.

Discolour very quickly
Perfectly good foam tiles that provide sound absorption and are quick to install. Be warned that they do discolour to yellow very quickly if exposed to indirect natural light (through windows etc.)

Does the job for this on the spectrum fridge freezer noise lunatic
My Bosch American fridge freezer has a tendency for late night buzzes and fan whir. To be honest most people would be fine with it, but it drives me crazy. I'm afraid I ruminate on sounds and can't let them go. My problem entirely, but I wanted a solution. Rather than the expense of building a purpose cabinet (the FF is currently freestanding) I opted for some sound insulation. As others have stated, a hairdryer is a must for bringing these back to life. Super easy and works well to expand back up. I think the whole pack took around 5 minutes to go over. I've tucked a few of these in the back (above the vents) and down the side. I have to say in the evening there is a little sound still but its super muffled and doesn't seem to resonate as much. It might be that my new foam squares are dampening some vibration too but these have worked well for me and my (special) needs.

They were thin and ugly
They arrived thin and flimsy, left the for 48 hours to inflate and are still the same, not impressed, colour is more or a pinkish red instead of a red, ordered black ones too for a checker board pattern and they came fine and look good, dont know if these were a bad batch or if the red are just badly made, definitely not "high quality" "iv left this comment as completely agree. Very disappointed"

Perfect - Don’t Take Any Notice Of The Poor Reviews
Having read a lot of bad reviews for this product, I thought I’d leave a positive one. They came vacuum packed with a total thickness for all 12 panels, of about an inch. I opened the pack and initially thought - oh dear, maybe I should have took note of those reviews. But, having read up on how to get the panels into a useable state, I got to work… I soaked each one in warm water for about 10 seconds, squeezing out all the air bubbles. Then I squeezed out all the excess water, and immediately the panels were magically revived into their original shape and size. I let them all dry on a clothes airer overnight, and they were good to go. Overall I’m pleased with them.

Fit for purpose
So yes it's misleading that they use the word 'sticker' in the descriptive title, as these are in no way self-adhesive. That being said I don't really understand why the person who wrote the really bad review about them not expanding had this experience as mine were absolutely fine. I tried applying heat as was mentioned in another review, however this made absolutely no difference whatsoever. I simply cut the vacuum sealed pack and they expanded immediately. They're easily as thick as the pictures show, which is the main thing. I've actually used mine for adding a little sound proofing/dampening to a home built PC enclosure, and they've worked nicely. I think if I was wanting to put up something like this in my home studio, for acoustic treatment I'd probably go for something better quality, as these are cheap and you get what you pay for. But for basic purposes, they are fine. They are also easy to work with, can be cut easily and are easy to stick to anything you want. The panels are a decent size. Would buy again.

Calidad - Precio

Pessimo
Alcuni bianchi alcuni giallissimi, inoltre veramente sottili.
