Good, but I returned the elbow brace
I bought this because other reviewers said it was great for bursitis protection. I fell and had a very swollen and extremely nerve sensitive bursa. I thought the hard cup part of this brace stuck out away from the skin and would protect my elbow from anything directly touching it. However, this is really like a compression sleeve with the hard cup added. When I slid it on my head spun with pain from compression squeezing the nerves. That is how sensitive it was at the time...this was not a solution for me at all but it seems like a good product otherwise.

Perfect for bursitis and protection after major bursitis surgery.
Long review, but some explanation is needed:I had always thought bursitis was a grievance my Grandfather used, like his "rheumatism". But, in my 20's I was 1st diagnosed with RA, then psoriatic arthritis in my 40's, now a diagnosis of bursitis in my elbows, ankles, and shoulders. It was an eye opening revelation. Frankly, had I known earlier it may not have needed surgery. I was not aware that RA and PA can be a precursor to the bursitis. That is my personal background for the search for a pad that would protect my elbow, post surgery and most probably the rest of my life. The search for an elbow pad has been a year long process, from the doctor and hospital therapists, to my own purchases at drug stores and even here on Amazon. I can say that this is by far the BEST pad I have tried. Many are purchasing these as a compression sleeves, in my case a compression sleeve would cause additional pain. My needs are a pad on the elbow since the bursa sack that was 1st failing internally, failed completely, hence the need for a full surgical bursa sac removal. The elbow pads I have gone thru were either a foam that would lose the padding after an hour or so of wearing. Many of those types have foam that is only sewn in place inside the fabric, and you have to take it off and reposition the foam that has moved. The foam, both the urethane. memory or gel type would compress and become flat, no pad at all after a short period of time. Or, a pad that was made for protection, a hard plastic that had no give, like a football, soccer, or bicycle type protective cup shaped, meaning no padding at all, just hard protection that is no better than resting your elbow on a wood table. The worst are the "adjustable" types, they do not stay in place and constant re positioning is needed, with flattened padding like all the others. This "elbow brace" is the perfect answer for all the problems I have now, and will have in the future. This elbow pad is the answer for all who are at the beginning of bursitis (I wish I had found these years ago, I may have not needed the surgery), and IMO, the best I have found since my surgery.Padding: Firm yet soft! It does not compress. The protection and thickness of the pad foam centered over the elbow stays the same. Not one of the others, (over a dozen), lasted over 2 hours. And, unlike some of the others, the pad stays in place and does not move, it is sewn in place. The perfect size over the entire elbow area.Sizing: This may be tricky for some. I have a small arm. Straight elbow the circumference is 9 1/2", bent elbow, as in putting a spoon to your mouth, 11" in diameter. The small would have been too small, large too big. I purchased the medium since I knew that compression was not what I wanted. It stays perfectly in place, does not move from my elbow. The upper and lower parts of the sleeve are loose, not a compression fit, approximately 1/4" gap on upper arm, and the wrist end fits perfectly around the mid area where it sits. Not tight, no compression line at all, but the padded section sits perfectly on my elbow. The sleeve does NOT move, it is snug, yet does not compress. The pad stays on the elbow. Protecting your elbow from bumps, the accidental lean putting pressure on the affected elbow, etc.The only wish I have is that these came in several colors. I may call the manufacturer to check on color availability. For the time being I am going to order another set. The 1st time I have ever purchased the same elbow pad/protector since the bursitis advanced. A good thing!

Finally-Relief, thick soft pad that stays in place and it's a cool looking blue too!
Just what I've been looking for to ease the wear and tear on my elbow from sitting at computer table/desk. I had looked at other types but they were all for sports protection, skateboarding etc. and I knew I didn't want stiff plastic elbow guards for this. The foam pad is nice and thick so when I get a migraine and have to rest elbow on desk while holding ice pack to my forehead until the meds work that can take up to an hour or more to get rid of, but this stuff just springs right back, you could literally see if I held up both elbows which one was the one taking a beating, all red rough skin hurt to rest it on anything hard, chair armrests etc. But like others have said the medium size is too snug, I measured my arm above the elbow 10" and found with the medium one that putting it on with the larger tag end facing down toward my wrist must be the right way to wear these, I started using it with larger tag end above elbow, too tight that way. So I ended up getting the large size and it's perfect fit still snug enough not to move much when wearing it, I forget I have it on and my elbow looks and feels much much better. It's funny the way you stumble on to just the thing you needed when looking for something else because when I did a search for these all it was giving me was the sports type guards, I may get those for when I have to crawl under the house on hands elbows and knees but for the office or home I think you'll be glad you tried this one out. Was no point trying to return it I'd worn it long enough that the stamp on the outside was worn away, they don't cost much, it's free shipping with Prime-best decision I made getting that-and it wasn't sellers fault I took too long to admit it was too snug. If it's for you or someone you know try it you'll love it!

Actual Pad Is Too Small
I have a size medium elbow but the size Medium fit was way too tight. I returned it for a size large which fits a bit better and a bit less tight. However, even on my medium size elbow the size large pad is not wide enough and does not cover both bone joints of my elbow. Good pad but simply not large enough. Bought another here "Bird & Cronin Cradles Elbow/Heel Support One Size Fits All", without compression fit and much wider pad which goes about 3/4 around my elbow. I then cut out the Liveup pad and put it in the B&C Cradles to make it even a thicker pad.

Solved Elbow Ache from Long hours at the Computer
I was experiencing some left elbow tendon pain after years of working long days at the computer. My chair is comfortable and the arm-rests are well padded, but I still experienced an inflamed tendon that left my elbow and forearm aching.I wadded up a towel and put it on the arm of the chair to add some padding so the armrest didn't put direct pressure on that elbow, the result was a momentary relief. That led me to research elbow pads and of course, I want to Amazon for that. LiveupSports Compression Elbow Pad was what I decided to try and I am kicking myself for not buying something like this years ago! My arm is comfortable while I work and the inflammation is all but completely gone right along with that pesky ache.To even things out, I'm back to buy one for my right arm! The fabric is nice and non-irritating, I bought the large elbow pad and that's perfect for me.If LiveUp Sports is reading this, I'd love a set of Black Pads in the future.I could not be happier with this item and how it's helped me with my elbow issues. I definitely would recommend it without hesitation.
