This is a good facemask. It is a step up from a standard face-covering because it has a removable filter. The mask is washable and keeps its shape after washing. I like that it has the nose bridge adjuster built in so I can try stopping air leaking out of the top of the mask and steaming up my glasses. It doesn't always work, but neither do any of the masks/coverings that I have. This mask is far superior to the disposable ones because it is a good fit all the way around the mask and not loose or baggy like the disposable ones. This is comfortable to wear, offers some outward protection to others by having a filter and has a lovely pattern, so it is an attractive addition to the outfit of the day.

I bought this as i needed a mask that let me keep my glasses on and didnt steam up. The mask is comfortable and does stop my glasses steaming up most of the time if i placed my glasses on top of the mask but it also meant they kept falling off my face. It is a good fit and the quality is fine and they dont steam up as bad as with other masks.

I waited over a month before reviewing this mask, I rarely review items but this is very well made, comfortable and looks good. As a molecular biologist, I can say that no cloth based mask will completely protect against COVID, but it offers a decent seal given what I'd expect for the design. During the work week I'll wear it near enough 15 hours without any issues on comfort (or moisture build up etc) which is great. This is important because an uncomfortable mask would require regular adjusting, and touching the mask throughout the day somewhat defeats the purpose of wearing it. This has not been a problem for me (with a little head) or my partner (with a... larger than average head). I've washed sit several times, by hand and in the washing machine with no problem. Be sure to tie the ties into a knot or put the mask inside a pocket, I can imagine that if you are too rough with it the elastic would perish faster. I've since ordered another of these as a backup and recommended it to friends and colleagues. I'm waiting on an N99 too, but that really can't be worn all day and will be reserved for "high risk" situations like public transport.

The face mask market is all over the place. Who knows what is a good mask. People are making poor quality masks and charging fortune to the vulnerable, desperate buyer. I am reviewing this because I think it is good quality and suitable for reducing the risk of catching coronavirus germs. It has the metal wire to mould it over your nose, which is an essential part of an effective mask. The elastic can be tied to suit your own comfort. It comes with one filter (wrapped individually) and two filter covers to ‘sandwich’ the filter into the pocket on the mask. Finally, call me shallow, but I like that I can choose a trendy design for it. I don’t want to look like I’m about to operate on someone while I go to buy a pint of milk. Is it expensive? Yes possibly for a piece of fabric but I don’t have the time or supplies to sew my own so I’m happy to pay for one to be made for me. Ultimately it might be £14 that saves my health. PS. The elastic can be removed completely when you want to wash it to avoid damage and can be replaced with new elastic if necessary. It just slips through the fabric and is not sewn in place.

Nice enough for what it is but I don't understand why this is so expensive. The elastic is very flimsy and I don't expect that to last too long, which then makes the mask useless unless I add ties of my own. It's a nice pattern and nicer choices than I've seen anywhere else but again, I don't understand why they have to be so expensive. It's ONE mask. Most people are buying at least 2, therefore people are having to pay almost £30 for 2 masks, not including postage. Nice mask but expensive.

I purchased this and 2 other masks in this range (Magenta & Shapes) as a colourful alternative to surgical masks during the current Pandemic. The adjustable nose bridge wire (as found in surgical masks) ensures a good fit for protection and prevents glasses from steaming up. The masks also come supplied with a filter that fits into a pocket inside of the mask (Replacement filters are easily and cheaply available on many websites including this one). I have found this mask very comfortable & easy to breathe, even with the filter inserted. I have also found it cooler than other fabric masks that I have tried - a blessing in the recent hot weather. Overall, I was overjoyed to find unusual patterned face coverings that also had provision for a filter and included a nose bridge wire. Customer service was fabulous from the seller (pro-swimwear) who were very friendly and prompt when I sent them a question. Looking forward to buying a few more :-)

We are living in uncertain times and I was looking for a face mask that is comfortable to wear. There is a small piece of wire in the nose area that can be manipulated so it sits close to the face. The elastic that goes around the ear does require you to tie knots in yourself: this is easy to do and allows you to customise the fitting. It comes supplied with two filters (a basic clear blue one and a PM 2.5 filter) which can easily be inserted or removed from the inner pouch that sits over the mask. Although the mask is reuseable, the filters are not. The instructions that come with are very easy to read and understand, so for anyone looking for a mask for general wear in public spaces (i.e. not requiring medical grade PPE like a health worker - the instructions make this clear), I would recommend. It comes in a range of designs which, although secondary, for anyone who might be style or fashion conscious (I'm particularly thinking of children and younger people who may not grasp the full scale of the COVID pandemic), it might make someone more willing to wear if they can get something that is bright and colourful. I give the product a 4 star purely for the price. I'll admit that I have no reference point for the price of a mask in 'normal' (non-pandemic) times, and although I was able and prepared to pay £13.99 for a mask that fits my face well and gives me peace of mind, it does seem a little expensive. I'd like to be optimistic and think that its always been a similar price, rather than it being hiked up and the seller making an extra few pounds per sale in a health crisis.

So I've uploaded a picture to go with this review because I have a little pea head so was worried that this may be too big for me and bag all over the place - This mask fits perfectly because I was able to tie the ear loops myself to creat the desired fit. Material feels nice, doesn't irritate the skin, the material also feels like really nice quality stuff. The elastic ties are a little on the fraying side of things and that's before I'd even washed it, however, I washed it before using it and the ties didn't come apart or thread anymore. Overall I'm very happy with this face mask, I'd rather pay a little more than normal for nice quality and a good fit than pay less poor quality and poor fit. Will be recommending 👌🏻
