I have now used these along with 1" strap to hang three different kayaks upside down under our deck, where they are exposed to the weather. They remain extremely secure one year later. I also use them in my garage to hang ladders etc - anything where I prefer strap over paracord due to gentler weight distribution or greater strength. I use the provided screws when their length is sufficient, because they are good screws so long as there is no significant gap (e.g. from drywall) between the hardware and the strong material to which you are attaching. These are not cheap, but they are of high quality. I have not tested them to failure, but they seem to be very strong.

Used for mounting a jBL speaker in the dash of my boat. Nice finish and uniform size.

I needed something to secure a TV using velcro straps in my RV. No luck. These were perfect and they look quite nice, just as pictured.

I like these. Much better quality than I expected.
