The ONLY scent I buy! It’s amazing!!

YANKEE CANDLE FRESH CUT ROSES SCENTED, PREMIUM 22OZ SINGLE WICK CANDLE, OVER 110 HOURS.We only used this one time, but it reminds me of my Roses outside during the Summer. I just want to emphasize that I bought four of these since I can remember how shocked I was to discover that Amazon sold candles which was about two weeks ago. Having bought four, I forgot that among a whole extra large garbage bag size of gifts my Mother-in-Law gives all four of us filled with gifts, which I feel bad that she goes way overboard, that she always gives me at least two or three Yankee Candles in gift bags I wouldn't have bought four candles. Sometimes my Sister-in-Law gives me one in a gift bag, as well. I think I got carried away how they cost less than half of what they do in the Yankee Candle store. I think that depending on what the scent is some are more money. Still, they are significantly a huge deal less. I din't really look very long, which I spent about five minutes so I don't know in the short period I spent buying mine. Usually I would have bought my husband the scents he likes, which I feel terrible about if I spent more time than a few minutes. I've been thinking about how selfish of me since then. I bought some for him at Yankee Candle store for my eldest son to put in their Christmas stockings. But, I was feeling very guilty while waiting for them to ship, which took a couple of weeks for some reason. His mother gave him a couple. We are going to be all set for candles for a while. My biggest value to offer is to share my discovery that Amazon sells Yankee Candles for a fraction of what they are at the Yankee Candle store or Hallmark. I hope that helps someone. After years of mostly buying Kindle books I continue to be amazed at how many things I'm finding out that there's a vast amount of variety, as well.

For years I refused to buy Yankee Candles because the high prices are ridiculous to me..Well, after years of protest (and seeing a few on sale lol) I have decided to check them out for the very first time.It's a 1 wick candle so I made sure to burn the candle long enough to reach a full melt pool.Being a candle maker myself I know that wax has a "memory".If you don't burn the candle long enough the wax will develop a barrier. So each time you burn the candle the wax will not melt beyond that barrier, meaning, it will not complete a full melt pool (wax reaching the edges of the container).I only light my candles when I have time to stay home awhile and enjoy it , giving it time to do its thing.The candle burned slow and after a few hours I got a full melt pool.Amazing scent!The scent throw was strong but not overpowering.Yes the flame was a bit high but with such a large jar and being that it is a single wick, the wick has to burn hotter in order to reach a full melt pool.I typically snuff out the flame when I see a complete melt pool. And I loved how the candle continued to fill the room with fragrance for hours even without the flame.Yes Yankee Candles are a bit expensive but so worth it.New Customer!

This candle is absolutely my favorite. When I first received it I thought the scent was going to be a little too earthy or musky, but when it's lit it smells absolutely wonderful and fills my whole house with the scent of real roses, not an artificial rose scent. It's lovely and calming. I absolutely love it.**Update 3/7/16**I ordered this candle again since the last one has now been completely burned down, and for some reason this new one isn't as heavily scented. While it's burning I don't experience the same amount of fragrance as I have in the past or what I've come to expect with Yankee Candles. I don't know if this is an older candle, but I did notice the label says "A passion for fragrance" underneath "Yankee Candle" and the candle I bought previously with a strong fragrance says "America's Best Loved Candle". I'm pretty disappointed that this new candle doesn't fill my home with the scent like previous candles have. I might take it to the Yankee Candle store to see if I can exchange it. Hopefully it's not a fake.

I had a rose bush with huge pink blossoms that I moved with me 4 times and it lasted until two years ago so after reading reviews I bought 2 of the Fresh Cut Rose scent hoping for the same smell I got from my roses. I received them yesterday and could smell something from the packaging but wasn’t sure if it was the candle. When I opened it I realized it was the rose scent from the candle but it wasn’t a fresh rose scent I was used to. It wasn’t a strong scent but yet I could smell it from a box inside of another box. I let it burn 8 hours in the bathroom and it was the same scent as when I opened it. It had to be strong enough to smell it through the boxes yet it was a light somewhat faint scent of what I would call chemical induced roses. It’s okay but not 5 stars okay since I was expecting a more real rose scent.

Long Lasting with a Great Throw. We’ve been counting on Yankee Candles for decades now (when our kids were young & at home). The Best & Most Reliable Candle Scents. Just wish the prices were more affordable nowadays.

Artificial chemical aroma, not natural at all, quite disappointed, the real colour of the candle looks like a cheap soap, not really match the photo tho, however, large jar and strong scent
