Ingenio Smart Play Pad (English and French), Multi, Model:59213

I was very excited when this product arrived and had high hopes it would meet my expectations. Unfortunately, it was broken and would not turn on (made a low beep noise and that is all). In an attempt to give it a second chance as I really wanted this toy to work for my son, I returned it and ordered another one. When the second one arrived, it didn't work either (no sounds at all). I played with the batteries a little (pushed on the area where they were) and it started working. However, after one use with my one-year-old, it stopped working again. When we pressed the on/off button, it would make a noise (low beeping noise) but would not work properly. I tried to work with the batteries again. However, it would not turn back on like it did before. I returned it as well and ordered a different product. I would recommend paying a little more for a different make/model. There are others out there.

This is perfect for my two year old that we are teaching French/English. the buttons and simplicity of use make it easy and fun and it is well made so even being dropped a few times from her desk or the couch and it still works perfectly.

Easy to use basic pad but disappointed to see the front cover not fitting properly

My son enjoys it very much. Its not so easy to find French any more so this was great.

This was such a waste of money. It's obviously not well made to begin with, and then it stopped working within 24 hours of getting it, even after we changed the battery. I bought it so my 4yo could listen to/learn a little bit of French before starting French immersion pre-k this fall, but I would have done better just using a free app on my phone

I gave one star for it being French English. Another star because it is easy to use. That aside I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. It worked for about six minutes and after putting in new batteries there's no reason why it should have stopped working. I received one and the way it was shipped caused it to not function and the company sent me another right away. Their customer service was great and expedient. I JUST got the new one in and like I said, 6 minutes of use with a 2 year old and myself holding it gently together and it just quits. That is just horrid and unacceptable. It is a very cheap looking you and the front is a sticker on top of a white hard plastic backing. It was made in China. This is just bad because I had such high hopes for this toy. It's basically just trash-- after six minutes. It did not get dropped smacked hit or anything. Halfway through the moo sound when she pushed the cow and it just stopped. When I looked closer at the battery area I noticed IT IS RUSTED!!! I just got it how the heck did it rust?!? Sadly I will be returning it.

Great learning device

Purchased item a second time and same exact result. Did not work. Made electrical shorting noise. Very disappointing.
