Game Boy Color - Limited Pokemon Edition - Yellow (Renewed) [video game]

Buy it! I was looking for one of these for my boyfriend’s birthday gift. He had told me many times about how badly he had wanted this exact one as a child, but due to cost & availability, his dad got him the all yellow gameboy instead, not the actual yellow Pokémon version. He loved the one he got, but still talked about how much he would’ve rather received the Pokémon version. So, in my mission to find one for him, I look at various websites & stores- Amazon, eBay, other resale shops/sites, etc. Amazon had the best priced one that seemed the most legit (i.e. VS eBay). It shipped & arrived quickly, and has had no problems or issues at all. He plays on it almost daily & has had it for 3+ months already.

Works great when it isn’t eating through batteries. Have to fire it up and shut down a few times when it hasn’t been played for a few days. Review is heavily influenced by the nostalgic itches it scratches from over 25 years ago. Nevertheless, solid console in decent condition (minimal specks in the display, but not entirely disruptive to gameplay).

It arrived really fast. It was a gift for my son’s birthday and he loves it. Totally made his birthday, he’s been playing it nonstop

I was very disappointed to find out its not an authentic Gameboy. Mine works fine so far tho.

Works great and really fun and nostalgic. My only complaint is that that EXT. port is broken making my worm light useless.
