Not too bad, but broke out my daughters forehead
Overall the product worked nicely in my daughter's 2b/c hair. It started flaking after the third day, which is common in all of the gels that I use on her hair just because of the texture and I can't seem to keep her from touching her hair. But the difference was that this product left her with tiny bumps, almost like tiny pimples, so we will not re-purchase this product.

4a hair- Wash hair, blot excess water, apply Design essentias leave in conditioner to wet hair, then apply this product and let hair air dry.
