Boiron HemCalm Suppositories for Hemorrhoid Relief of Pain, Itching, Swelling or Discomfort - 10 Count

I originally used the hemorrhoid ointment from Boiron and that took the bulk of pain and swelling away. Backstory: I had hemorrhoid removal surgery in May of 2023. I didn’t know how to regulate my stools to get them to go away naturally. The surgery left me with more problems because even after surgery, I was pinned to supplements to make me go #2. Instead of 3 minorly painful hemorrhoids— I had one hug problem of a hemorrhoid after surgery. Bleeds quite a bit at times and has a hard time healing when inflamed. I’ll never go through surgery again. I’ve used Nifedapine, steroid suppositories and CALMOSEPTINE as alternatives for relief and both only go so far. Back to Boiron’s HemCalm series— it gave me more relief than most products. The exterior gets the ointment and the inside gets the suppositories, you HAVE TO TREAT BOTH. Do it at night to rest all muscles in preparation for the morning #2. And this product will not work for you if you don’t get a handle on your eating habits and change your diet and lifestyle completely. Your stools need to be consistently soft for optimal healing. Boiron gives natural solutions to aid you in becoming healthier naturally as it should be. You can’t expect this product to reduce overall body inflammation after you hit the drive-through for burgers and fries. It begins with YOU! And no doctor or surgeon will tell you that because they bank on you entering through their doors for surgery for a “quick fix”, but I’m telling you right now— these lumps TAKE TIME to subside. And it’s ok to be on a natural product like Boiron HemCalm for a few weeks if need be. Preventing further irritation is key, reducing whole body inflammation is your goal. -notes for Boiron- please make a version of these suppositories thinner, the width is too much for those of us who had surgery. I personally melt the width with my fingers to help it along and cover it in castor oil to help it on its way. -notes for Boiron- the white petrolatum as an inactive ingredient in the HemCalm ointment should be replaced with something more natural, otherwise a fantastic product I use daily till my problem is resolved. I can function normal because of your products! Overall, these are great products I’ll continue to use because this company actually cares about their customers.

I was skeptical but it really worked! I had persistent hemorrhoids that would bleed when I had a bowel movement. I didn't want to go to a Dr and deal with prescriptions meds. Isearched for a product that I thought might be able to heal me. I used these and my issues are gone! No more pain or bleeding with bowel movements. It's been 3 months and I have continued to have no issues. Word of warning: though they work really well, every time you fart you'll leave a greasy stain in your undies. I recommend wearing a light pad to catch any leakage from the suppositories. Totally worth the week of annoyance though!

They work great. They are calming and soothing and homeopathic. I trust this brand. I have these on auto order and keep them in my bathroom for convenience. It’s just one of those purchases that being a mother entails. I’ve always trusted BOIRON for so many of my mothering needs, including products for my kids.

I was skeptical of these because they're homeopathic, but I was desperate & prep H wasn't working. I needed something that would actually heal my skin instead of just numbing the pain. After a long painful month of bleeding and pain every single day, these used 2x a day + a rutin capsule taken orally 2x a day healed me in about a week. I had the best results doing the first one of the day right after my morning BM, otherwise it just triggers the urge to go and you'll be um... passing it right after insertion and it's just a waste. The one I put in right before bed didn't seem to trigger anything, but I'm not typically a nighttime pooper. YMMV. I'd also suggest you go to the toilet for every fart while using these!! 😅😳

good product but they need to redesign the packaging. The tabs to open each suppository are so small and slick, I have to use 2 sets of vice grips to pull it open. The tabs need to be bigger and textured.

This product helped ease the pain!

With open mind, this is me, no one is the same, what happen to me certain don't happen to others. As Dr. in Chinese medicine and acupuncture I have responsibility to report what happen to me. This product promise to relief Pain, Itching, Swelling of the hemorrhoid, for me did the opposite, did not relief nothing just caused pain, itching, and severer swelling, whit just 2 suppositories. My recommendation is listen to your body, special if you are sensitive.

Helped with inflammatory type rectal pain , possible IBD flare, when nothing else did with multiple doctors visits. Used 1-2 a day for 1-2 weeks. Embarrassing to discuss but these truly helped!! Warning -smells awful and occasional “leakage”when coming out about 4-8 hours later, so tried to use in afternoon while at home, to avoid issues with school /work next day. Usually totally cleared out by 12 hrs, so plan ahead or use a pad “just in case”. SO much more effective than Preparation H which was firey pain and made things worse. Would recommend!!

They work brilliantly! It takes about half an hour to kick in and after that within the hour there’s nothing. No pain, no burning, no scratching.
