Behrens BEHRENS-1210GS 1210GS 10-Quart Galvanized Steel Pail

This is a great, sturdy bucket. I got it for hauling ash out of my fireplace and fire pit. I saw complaints about it not looking great in the reviews. It's not meant to be a decorative bucket... It's for actual use and it holds up great. Very sturdy and serves it's exact purpose. Sticker doesn't peal off great, but that's fine - use some goo gone if it bothers you.

I bought these for hanging flower pots, have done so before with good results. Drill a few small holes for drainage. Planting your own hanging pots save a lot of $$ and you get exactly what you want,

There's a couple of whiney reviews fussing about the quality of the galvanizing and construction - maybe good ol' Behrens is having a bit of a quality control problem, but MY EXAMPLE IS FLAWLESS. I needed an ash bucket for my steel firepit (it's actually a tank end - looks like a big bowl on legs). I saw many a cutesie ash bucket for sale here for big bux that looked to me they'd surivive just fine in front of the fireplace as a decorative item, but I needed someting that was going to sit outside year around on the patio. A good old fashioned steel bucket ought work just fine. Okay, so they added about four bux to the price for shipping - you can find 'em listed at the local hardware store for that much less but you still have to order it and then ya hafta go get it. Or pay for shipping. I gave up trying to find one locally and just ordered the darn thing. Well they did in fact use those extra bux or shipping - it was here pronto. Yay seller! I'll admit it's not anywhere near as heavy as the buckets I grew up with on the farm, but I'm not going to milk a cow to it or carry feed in it. I'll see what it looks like in a year and update this review - it'll either be a pile of rust or look like it did when it came. My bet looking at it is it'll look like new.

I would have given this a five star rating but can came dented. Not good packaging. Serves its purpose. Other then that it’s exactly what I wanted. Cheaper price then my hardware store. So it’s a good value. Old fashioned solid pail for washing the floor, car, dog, anything. Good brand.

I got this bucket to use for my son's Easter basket. The sticker on the front comes right off. My son uses this bucket to dig in the dirt, and put his little cars in it. It works great for that purpose, and he loves the bucket. The bucket did have a chemical glue smell, from the glue used to put this bucket together. I washed it and it was all gone, but the bucket leaked water all over the place. The other reviews about the bucket leaking didn't bother me, because I didn't need it for that purpose. The bucket is very sturdy and great for anything but liquid.

I've purchased several of these Behrens galvanized pails and find that the quality is first rate. We're going through a long drought and these pails are used primarily to move around re-purposed gray water. I bought the 10-qt. size for my wife because she found that the 12 and 14 qt. pails are a bit heavy when full. The 10 qt. size is perfect in this respect. Again, regarding the quality, I'm very impressed with Behrens. I also bought a few of their old school galvanized trash barrels at our local Lowes store. A little more expensive than the plastic, but these metal cans won't dry up and crack. I expect them to last a very long time.

I am actually impressed by the quality of these buckets. I purchased for Easter buckets. I also ordered personalized monogrammed stickers for these and they were adorable and chic. These were the cheapest that I could find buckets for Easter during quarantine. They worked and will last through several easters.

Awesome medium size bucket, durable and totally handy! Shiny silver is a bonus!

Pésimo - no se dejen engañar. Esta cubeta solo sirve para contener cosas secas, si le pones agua se escurren. Tiene silicon supongo que para intentar sellarla pero no funciona. Y como este artículo no puede devolverse te quedas con una cubeta cara e inservible. Hasta ahora es la peor compra que he hecho en Amazon
