Perfect for Use
I recently acquired an uncurred handmade cutting board from a friend. After a little research, it came to my attention that it really should be sealed to prevent rot and contamination from food stuffs. Further investigation said that I should use a linseed oil. So, I scoured the marketplace for something acceptable. I used this product and BAM! It works wonders. After a few cleanings of my board, I just reapply another coat to keep it sealed. It last a good while and makes the surface easy to clean. It helps resist maring and cut marks. And has no strong scent when applied. I just apply at the end of the evening and it's ready to go the next day. It's easy to use perfect for the application. Thank you. I will be purchasing more once this finally runs out.

Linsheen is an outstanding linseed oil finish
I decided to try this product on my latest walnut project. Beautiful ! IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT PROPERLY you will NOT have a problem with it drying. Apply a thin coat and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then wipe your project with a cloth well. All you want left on the wood is some “shine”. There should be no liquid sitting on the wood. Let it dry for 24 hours. Wipe your project vigorously with a dry clean cloth and then do the application cycle again. Repeat this cycle until, it “looks right” to you. Then let it sit for a week and then look at it again. If it looks a bit “dry” to you then do another application. PATIENCE is the key to linseed oil wood finishing.

Doesn’t leave a smell or residue
Seems like a good product. I use it to keep our untreated wood from drying out (we live in a semi-arid area). Works well so far, and doesn’t leave a smell or residue is applied according to the directions.

Worked great for hand carved spoon
This products did a wonderful job as a finish on a few hand carved wooden spoons I made. The finish dried to dull sheen, highlighting the woodgrain. I thought there might not be enough in this bottle, but for small items like this, it took very little. I’ll be able to get dozens and dozens of projects out of this one bottle .

Great stuff
I am really surprised at how well this stuff restores the old raw wood on on my antique tool collection. I had neglected (forgot) my tools in a snap box out in the unconditioned part of my shop for 9 years the wood was very dry to say the least. But I treated them with some of this stuff very sparingly (it’s true a little goes a long way) and a couple treatments later and they look great. Definitely recommend this product for restoring old dry wood.

Nicely packaged quality oil
Exactly what I ordered. Package wasn’t damaged. Well sealed. Smelled like linseed oil. Made a beeswax furniture polish with it and it worked great. Would probably order a larger quantity next time- this was a small bottle. But perfect for experimenting.
