Very large size
I make kombucha 5 gallons at a time. It is very inconvenient to use a bunch of tea bags. It is also kind of a bother to use a large # of loose tea strainers. I bought this and it works great. The holes in it are quite large, so normal loose tea comes right out of the holes. No problem when you just put the amount of tea you want in a cheese cloth basket. :)

It’s BIG! Watch your fingers
This thing is huge, much bigger than we expected. My biggest complaint and the reason why we returned it, is the part of the locking mechanism is very very sharp! I wasn’t expected it to be that sharp, so I pressed on it to lock it it cut my finger
