Finally a durable thermometer! It is high quality and a pleasure to use. I love that this thermometer is waterproof so it’s super easy to clean and won’t break if left outdoors. It’s fast and easy to read and super easy to use. Totally worth spending the few extra dollars on to get something that will last. I love that it takes a AAA battery instead of the disc kind that no one keeps on hand. I have had two different folding digital thermometers in the last couple years that broke, so I am hopeful this one will stand the test of time. Strong magnet on it so I store it on the side of my microwave so it’s handy. Super happy with this purchase.

This thermometer works great--accurate readings, easy to set. It replaced one which was much more tempermental.

4 stars out of 5; recommended (with reservations) This meter is trivial to use and clean. The numbers are easily seen and a "stable" reading is available quickly. It's trivial to clean and stores easily (there's even a hook for hanging). Big improvement for me over the traditional analog thermometers. The price is also comparable. The probe is long enough for anything but the biggest birds or roasts. For some, might be worth looking for a longer model. The biggest downside is purely cosmetic: the first time I cleaned it (warm water, mild detergent, soft cloth), the "face" dulled, so it looks matte in some places (but not all). Doesn't affect its utility, just makes it seem as if it always needs to be cleaned. PS the first one I received didn't turn on at all. I exchanged it via Amazon, without issue, and have had zero problems since. A note about accuracy: I chose not to leave a rating for that. it's surprisingly hard to compare: except for "professional" models, there's a natural error range that usually exceeds the amount listed by the manufacturer. The only way to be sure is to compare using laboratory-certified gear, which most customers won't have. I tested in three ways: boiled water and poured it over the probe, stirred a glass of ice+water with probe, and by inserting into water chilled in the fridge (with its own problematic temp gauge). The results were as expected (F/C): 212/100, 32/0, and 38/3.3. Close enough for me.

Pretty simple review. Great thermometer. Works as advertised. Instant readings, waterproof. Good features. Battery seems to last. It's safe to purchase.

This is an indispensable item in my kitchen. I use it to cook various dishes. It is easy to read and very convenient to use. I have needed a good thermometer for many years. I'm glad I did this. Now I can be sure whether my dishes are cooked or not, and no longer have to worry.

The TP-15H is the best thermometer I have ever had (and I have tried many "quick read" thermometers)! this one truly reads quickly! The long stem provided temp check while staying away from the heat of the stove. The light feature makes it easy to read. I can store the thermometer on any metal surface with its magnetic back or on a hook. Temp chart on the back is a good reminder. It is well made, waterproof, easy to hold. I got 1, then ordered 2 more. Customer service responded via email within hours to answer my question. Will definitely recommend!
