I loved this HCL For it was pure, and had no additives or fillers like rice, magnesium, etc. it’s pure and 100% HCL and I finally found one like this product with the fair price as well!

Works as well as some higher priced HCLs
If you are taking HCL to help digest your food this works as well as some higher priced products. This HCL does not have pepsin in it though. My husband can't handle much pepsin. I need more pepsin so I take a different brand. It's a good value for the money and easy to swallow.

Completely ineffective and a little sketchy
I've used multiple other brands of Betaine HCL. I purchased this because it is supposed to be pure with no fillers. This brand does not work for me at all. I'm skeptical of the potency as well as the quality of the capsules which have an odd smell. I would not recommend.

Had to stop taking
They didn’t work for me, I tried them for a few days followed instructions and made me go to the bathroom and didn’t help with my acid reflux. I read reviews that it helped others so it may just be me,

Great Remedy For Preventing Heartburn
I have been having a lot of problems with heartburn. I guess it is because I'm getting old. I tried a lot of anti-acids and other products to reduce acid, but the heartburn issues continued. I decided to do a little research on the subject, because I was tired of having the problems every day. I found this guy, named Dr. Berg, on Youtube who has many videos on the subject. He often suggests trying Bentaine HCL along with some other supplements to help alleviate issues with chronic heartburn. It seems counter intuitive to take something acidic to heal a problem with heartburn, but he explained the process well on why it works. I gave the suggestion a try with these supplements and it did wonders. I am finally free of feeling ill every day right after I eat. I no longer get heartburn and I am so pleased with this product. What a blessing to have these on hand. They are probably saving me from getting GERD.
