Can these be used a Dwarf Cichlid aquarium?

I would avoid these leaves for that if they are spotted with black spots when you get them. Several people including myself have gotten infected leaves from this seller, and when introduced to water they will infect other plants in your aquarium.

Should I get half a gallon or a full gallon for a 44 gallon terrarium?
