Lion Brand Yarn 135-189 Hometown Yarn, Napa Valley Pinot (1 skein)

Lion Brand Hometown Tarn is my favorite for making loom knit hats. I use the adult (orange) loom and can make one hat with yarn left over. These hats are great for giving to the unhoused people. There are many different colors. The people appreciate the choices. I usually order the solid colors as more yarn than the tweeds or specialty colors. As a give away, I want quality, softness and price. This meets all my needs!

Warm, soft, easy to knit with. Made a great pair of thick house socks for one grandson, beautiful winter scarf for another. The colors are great, they wash and dry well.

This Lion Brand yarn is fantastic. I crocheted an afghan for myself and when my daughter saw it she wanted one for herself. The yarn is thick and stands up in the gentle cycle in the wash and light dry.

This yarn is wonderful, currently making a sweater, so soft and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this yarn, and for the quality of the yarn, you can not beat the price.

I'm still learning how to knit, and I just made a warm and very soft scarf out of Hometown USA Yarn in Dallas Grey. First a warning...if you're making a large project and you need to match the dye lot, consider ordering from the manufacturer. I ordered three skeins from Amazon and they came in two different shipments with two different dye lots. The color is grey, there isn't a noticeable difference in the yarns (to me anyway) and this was a practice project. But for something important where color matching does matter...I'll head to the yarn shop. But that day is a very long way off, so Amazon it is... This yarn is loosely twisted. When I had to pull out rows, it did separate a bit. It was also easy to stick my needle into the strand of yarn or miss getting the whole loop on the needle. The yarn is also fairly thick. The Dallas Grey color is really nice. Because the yarn was so soft, it felt a bit slippery. I'm really happy with the finished scarf. It's super soft. It's toasty warm. It's really thick. An all around nice scarf.

These are a great quality yarn that is easy to work with and wear as well. I’m very happy with this purchase and I bought more colors for more projects. A great brand and a great price.

I picked up this yarn because I fell in love with the color, but it turned out to be even better than I expected. This was my first time trying this particular fiber from the brand, and I’m really impressed. I used it on my loom to make a hat, and it was just the right amount for one project. The yarn worked up beautifully, didn’t snag or split, and the finished piece feels soft and durable. The color looks just as vibrant in person as it did online. I honestly don’t have a single complaint. I’ll definitely be ordering more for future projects.

I used this yarn to finish a crochet project. The color is very dark red.

I love this yarn. It's my first time knitting and I was apprehensive about buying a product without having physically inspected it first, but my fears were unfounded. I'm currently working on an afghan blanket project, and it feels so soft on the fingers. The flecking throughout the yarn is understated in low light, but visible in mid to bright lighting, giving my blanket an almost starry sky effect. If you get the ACTUAL Lion Brand packaging (not the knock-off replacement I got the first time), it comes with really helpful information on both sides of the cardstock tube. The integrated rulers (in both inches and centimeters) are a beautiful addition that I love. Thank you Lion Brand!

When I was buying these, I was asking myself if I was crazy paying so much for yarn. But when the wool arrived, it was so beautiful [I bought color "hoboken honey"]. The wool is shiny and it has beautiful biege-brown color. Oh! And when I started knitting, it even got better. It looks really expensive and very rich. Everyone compliments me on my scarf. One of the best wools I bought in quite a long time.

Listing quantity is inaccurate! It says you receive pack of 3 but you only get one! Disappointed!
