Bulb Exploded
This bulb (Hikari JD-7007F) replaced the original bulb (that had burned out) in a bathroom light fixture. I turned on the light switch and then closed the bathroom door. Upon closing the door, I immediately heard what sounded like a gunshot, plus one of the two lights on the fixture went dark. To my surprise the bulb had completely shattered (see attached picture). Luckily, the fixture has an enclosure that prevented glass from shooting out all over the bathroom, and possibly injuring me. These bulbs are dangerous!
