I got these socks because one of my poor puppers has developed an allergy to grass. It makes her paws itchy, and then she bites and licks, and... she got an infection. After multiple vet visits, we discovered the cause of her constant paw licking. These socks are being used as a barrier to discourage biting and licking. Additionally, they stop her paws from touching grass when wo go out for potty breaks. We got her actual shoes for walks/playtime, but these work awesome for her to just chill in all day, and we take them off at bedtime. Here's how it went: - both of my dogs initially thought the socks were toys. They tried to steal and chew them. I did not allow this because they are not only NOT toys, but a choking hazard. Redirection worked. - Once putting the socks on Mochi (the allergic one), they were both suspicious of the socks (I think most dogs would be). They both checked them out, and even tried to remove them. Redirection worked again - but I had to be persistent for a few hours. - Mochi was adorably confused as to where her feet were. But, thanks to the grippy soles on our hardwood floors, she is even able to go up and down stairs (we had to guide her the first couple times, but now she is very confident). - The socks have lovely Velcro straps which are removeable and attach with a snap button. The Velcro straps helped keep the socks in place as needed. I have a theory that, as long as the dogs don't pull on them, they could stay in place without the straps and I intend upon testing that, soon. - Now, in just two days, the two dogs are very used to the socks. Mochi is comfortable with her new apparel, and her sister is no longer trying to take them off. Mochi has not irritated the sores on her feet since putting them on, and they've already healed significantly (with the help of meds from the vet). - I plan on buying more pairs. They fit great. But definitely check the sizing guide because these socks have different sizing from many other brands I see! They are made for bigger dogs, too (great for me, because Mochi is 50 lbs) The one thing I would mention: The listing said this included two pairs. That means four socks, or ONE set. And I'm not mad, because obviously a pair is two. And 2x2=4. The price isn't outrageous, so I just shrugged it off and laughed at myself. But I DID assume a pair of dog socks was four socks, because dogs have four feet, and that 8 socks would arrive. Just letting y'all know so you don't make the same mistake I did. There are only four socks haha.

I have bought these twice for my 14 year old Aussie whose back legs are weak making her feet slip and slide on my wood floors. I have been very satisfied with them. The quality is good, they stay on well due to the stretchy velcro straps that hold them on. The double sided non-stick pads keep her from sliding and make putting them on her easier. The socks have held up well and are washable although I don't dry them in a dryer as I am afraid that the heat will melt the rubber non-slip areas on them. The fabric is soft, not scratchy and has held it's shape. They are well worth the price.

I like these paw sock bootie’s for my boy, they fit just right. We haven’t had any problems with slipping on smooth flooring, not even on grocery store floors. They seem to be comfortable but I did have to trim his nails down, I’d not been trimming/Dremeling on a regular basis but after a few weeks his nails are shorter and the booties fit much better. I like having them to use anytime he can burn his feet. The Velcro helps keep them from coming off, but make sure it’s tight enough to keep them from slipping off. The biggest reason I use bootie’s is because I want to keep my dog healthy and when out and about these bootie’s help me with that very nicely.

My dog had in injury to his front paws so I bought these to keep him from licking them. He’s 60lb and I got the large size, which fit okay, maybe a little big. Unfortunately he was able to get these off pretty easily. Because the Velcro straps are snap on he could it off and then get out of the socks. I think I’ll go back to the other brand where the Velcro was sewn to the socks, it made them a lot more secure. If your dog hates socks like mine does this might not be the brand for you, they’re easier to get out of than others. But otherwise I felt like they were soft and of good quality! (Dog tax)

Really nice little slipper socks. I went into this venture just looking for cheap, no slip grip socks because I fully expected my dog to rip them off and then shred them to pieces. He didn't!! These fit perfectly for my 65 pound husky. We only use them on his back feet because those are the ones that are sliding on the hardwood. They are very easy to put on and take off. They simply slip on, wrap the velcro around the ankle, not too tightly of course. The socks are quite nice, of a good thickness but still lightweight (no different than the slipper socks on your own feet). The socks have no slip grip on both sides so you do not need to fuss with your dogs feet, twisting them around this way and that way. The velcro strap is not sewn on, it is snapped on and the snap is strong. I have only laundered these by hand and cannot attest to how they hold up in the wash but they do well being hand washed and air dried. I highly recommend these and will purchase more as I need them.

My dog cracked his nail running in the yard. I babied it, but it got infected when the new nail failed to push the old nail out. The vet ended up removing both nails and leaving the quick exposed. She sent us home with a big cone collar to put on him to keep him from licking the quick so it would harden and scab. I got these socks to use instead during the day when he can be somewhat monitored (cone at night, since he would probably chew through them). They stay on, so I can work and take my eyes off of him. They are soft and seem comfortable, with anti-slip elements on top and bottom (useful since they can twist and turn). I use the velcro strap included with the socks to keep it in place, though the snap is in the wrong spot for my dog. I put the velcro below his "wrist" where the leg tapers. The socks are XXL and maybe a tad too large, but since the toe needs to breathe, this is a good thing. My dog weighs 90 pounds and is very active, leaping on the furniture and running to the window to look at squirrels, but the sock stays on.

Arrived quickly and size large fit my 90lb golden retrievers perfectly. Only took a few minutes for them to get used to wearing them on their front paws.

I like how these dog shoes work. They also look cute on him and matches fur. He gets lots of compliments. 🤣 I don’t have to wipe down his feet when we get home. Not too hard to put on, just takes a few extra minutes. It’s also helped my dog stay calm when getting ready for a walk. Perhaps the extra time and steps is teaching him delayed gratification. Before the shoes, he went nuts the entire time putting on his harness. Now he is relatively quiet and manageable. However, one has already gotten a small hole because of his nails, even though we keep them trimmed. It might be because our neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks so we have to walk in the street. Each time I have taken him out though, I have had one come off, usually before we leave the house. I think that just means I need to tighten them more. I would recommend getting a bright color in case they do happen to come off while you’re walking. The color looks neutral and nice but hard to find when you’re looking for it on the street because it blends in with the black top and fallen leaves.

Nota negativa: l'elastico della calza risulta fin troppo tenace ed è proprio in corrispondenza dello sperone. Il risultato è che lo sperone, premuto dal calzino, ha creato una piccola abrasione da sfregamento sulla cute, già dopo il primo utilizzo. Non li ho provati nelle zampe posteriori.
