I used the 3 mil on this necklace, the copper is easy to cut and quite thing so, it is not hard to cut and shape, that being said it worked for what I needed it for, would buy again, I believe the leather cord is 2mil.

Very thin material, would not bend pretty much at all without kinking. I abandoned this material and fixed my project with a automotive quality rubber hose

I'm using this as part of the plumbing on a model steam locomotive. Being slightly under 1/8", 3mm works better with the O-ring I'm using.
