I purchased these because our son is just getting to the age where he is more active and loves to climb in stuff. These fasteners are built out of metal and they seem to be really good quality. The pack comes with six furniture straps so it is very good for the amount of money. I feel better now knowing that all of our dressers are secured and that my son won’t be able to pull them over onto himself. These do need some room to work behind our dressers so if you are looking for something that doesn’t require your furniture to be pulled out from the wall a little bit I would look for a different set. I would recommend these fasteners for the peace of mind!

Installed in 5 minutes. I was able to hit studs on both sides of dresser so super secure. Then I tipped the dresser off the wall and hung my entire body with my feet off the ground. I'm 6'3"" 270lb and the dresser stayed secure to the wall, so I have no doubt it will hold if my 5 year old tries to pull up on it. And with the metal loops it gives you a couple inches you can keep dresser off wall if you need to, and as an electric outlet is behind dresser, works perfectly if I should need to access it. Super happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.

This mount is very easy to install and VERY sturdy. I have two big dogs who rough house and knock things over left and right and we used these to mount a very heavy oversized mirror and it doesn’t even budge. I can’t recommend these enough!

Furniture straps are necessary with little kids at home. Even though kids know that they are not supposed to climb up furnitures to play but they still do anyway. I can’t watch them all the time and cannot take the chance of falling furniture so I have to use furniture strap as a safety precaution on dressers and taller furnitures at home. These straps are easy to install and holding the dressers and furnitures stable.

We used this item to keep a headboard from tumbling down onto bed. This works for the purpose intended. Even kids jumping on bed, the headboard is still firmly attached to the wall. The components were all there. I needed a drill to complete the project. We do not live in an earthquake zone.

Great for holding tall bookshelves etc in place. I know nothing about anything related to home repair etc. I bought these not knowing if they were what we needed for the tall bookcase we had must gotten. My handyman asked me to order more for anything tall I got for our new apartment.

The plastic anchors that come with this kit are flimsy and the instructions are awful. "Drill a hole" is literally what it says. No size is indicated (I'm pretty sure you need a 1/4 bit if you are using the anchors but I decided to just screw directly into the wall stud without anchors and it's solid). I had a hard time feeding the metal wire through the holes on the brackets as I was working in a tight space and I double wrapped it around. I also was missing a 1.5 in screw but instead had a random 1 in screw with completely different threading in the bag. This will do for what I want it to do but I'm not super stoked about it like all the other reviews on here.

Bought this product to ensure our book shelves would not tip over. The metal appears sturdy as does the cable connecting it. Very satisfied.

When installing, the anchors do not have to line up perfectly. The cable makes this possible.
