How long does it last in the fridge after opening?

They say to go no longer than 48 hours. We did 3 days with no issues. Must be kept in the fridge though.

Yes. 24 hrs after opening and refrigerated after opening. Though it is probably still good, I would NOT use it after expiration even if it hasn't been opened. I'm not a doctor but my experience and opinion may defer from what happens. Google some of your states dept of health or ag food safety pages or the actual manufacturer for better explanation.

Does this formula have iron as well?

I did not have to give my child an iron supplement while she used this.
