Outstanding book about General George S. Patton III
The book contains so many great stories about General Patton, how he led, his beliefs, his love for his soldiers, his commitment to the USA and more. I highly recommend as general reading and for public safety emergency response commanders and emergency management leaders to read. Very valuable. Insights in war are very similar to local emergencies and domestic catastrophes.I highly recommend this book!

No One Has Any Balls Any More . . .
Okay. so I like George S. Patton, Jr. These days, someone like him would be completely wiped off the political map. I guess the closest thing that comes to him is Donald Trump, and we all know how much he is loved.Funny thing about Gen. Patton. He was a Christian and an Episcopalian in the old-fashioned sense. He had his own personal "blitzkrieg" to go to Germany to end the war to save lives and finish World War II. If any one else had handled that situation, the Berlin Wall would probably have extended through France and still be in tact today. He wanted to keep going to Moscow to rout the Reds (as the old moniker goes), also. If he did that, then we might not have had a Cold War and certainly not a Berlin crisis. I have had German friends who have agreed with this plausible scenario. What stopped him from doing this? The American media, of course, and our own politicians. Sound familiar for today?Someone with balls. Who will be like Patton was in today's world? Bernie? Elizabeth Warren? Kamala? I will quote George S. Patton on our current political dilemma(s):"The lowest form of human life is a politician. The lowest form of politician is a liberal democrat."Alright. Take that for what it's worth. I didn't say it - George S. Patton, Jr. did.Pick up this book. It isn't that bad. How can you blend "doing the right thing" with Christian leadership, that is, having a conscience and doing what's right? Hopefully, this book will provide you with some insight and answers."No one won a war by dying for his country. The object of war is to get the other son-of-a-bitch to die for his country." Well, plainly spoken and quite true. What politician can do that these days? Thanks, George, for your leadership, courage, and "doing the right thing" while being an erudite and learned, Christian gentleman. :)Pick up this book!

Good book for military mindset
Good information on Patton, good information in what and how he ran things pre WWII. It is not a modern book for managers so don't expect 90's and 2k info or techniques or even specific step by steps, it is the principles that are in this book.

Inspiring and motivational
This book is absolutely phenomenal. It was recommended to me by an Air Force general whom I greatly respect and admire. As a result, I did not hesitate to pick it up. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. It has the perfect blend of comedy and inspirational recounts from Lieutenant Williamson, who worked directly with General Patton. I wish this was available in e-book format, but nonetheless, I love it. It's easy to read and you can get through it fairly quickly.Once you're done reading the book, you might ask yourself how you can be more like Patton. I know I would give anything to be half the leader he was.

Explanation of Patton's success
There are tons of books out there, all about Patton's life. None of them explains why Patton was so successful. This book offers the reader an inside-look into the behaviour, thoughts and views of one of the most successful generals of the Second World War.For anyone interested in Patton, the Second World War or anything military, I cannot advise this book enough. To me, it is a classic.
