On Paws ‘Sleep Easy Bed’ Black, Size M Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed machine washable

This is the second On Paws bed we have purchased for our spaniel. We have the Lounger bed but needed a second bed for the office. Our spaniel is getting a little older now so decided to go for a memory foam bed. We are really pleased with this bed, the memory foam is excellent and the quality is very good.I was a little worried when I opened the bed as it arrived suction packed but as On Paws say on the page give it 24 hours and the bed expands and looks fantastic. We have a very happy dog who has taken to it straight away. The medium was spot on for our spaniel giving her plenty of space to stretch out. I would 100% recommend this bed.

I currently have Casper memory foam dog beds for two of my dogs and sadly since covid they don’t make them in the uk anymore. So I wanted something similar for my British bulldog. I came across this bed on Amazon, and read the reviews, and the majority of them were good reviews, and the bed only being around £45 compared to my Casper beds at £115 each, I thought I’d get it for him. Well when it arrived it was vacuum packed, so I had to leave out for three days to expand. He got on it and fell to sleep right away, so must be comfy. The following day though it was filthy and he had an accident on it for the first time ever! I took cover off to wash but the so called waterproof cover that covers the foam etc can’t be removed, so I spent a full day washing it down, spraying with fabreeze and hanging on the line to get rid of the smell, so it doesn’t happen again. The rest of the covers I washed in the machine. They washed and line dried really quickly. But it’s hard to get it back on, and each time it gets washed, it gets harder. After a week, the stitching it has come away around the edges where the bolster cushion’s inserted. The foam he actually lies on is a separate cushion that sits in the centre of the raised edges, so my boys is always pulling it out. Infact the third time he slept on it, in the morning he had bit through the zip breaking it and had eaten some of the foam! So the bed would’ve been so much better if the main lying area mattress/foam was put in the bed from the underside, like the Casper dog beds, that way dogs can’t pull it out and eat it or chew at it. Also I say foam as it definitely does not feel like or look like any memory foam dog beds I’ve had over the years, or have now. I guess you do get what you pay for. It honestly would be a great bed if the main mattress lying area wasn’t a separate cushion that you placed in from the top. And you put it into the bed from the underside, just like the raised bolster edges. I also think they should use better thicker quality foam. If they did this couple of tweaks the bed would definitely be a great bed.

This pet bed is great! My two dogs (pug and french bulldog) love their bed! It’s so easy to clean and remove the cover to wash it. Would highly recommend and the bed is worth the money.

After purchasing another brand memory foam dog bed for my 15 year old dog. We decided to purchase one for my young pup (basically because he loves it as well). We chose this bed due to reviews and because they offered a smaller size, which is what I needed. Very disappointed, this is made up mainly of normal basic foam, with the inside pad having approx 2cm topper stuck to the 5cm basic foam. We still waited over 24 hours to allow the bed to fully form, just in case we were willing to live with it, which never happened - one of the sides was still very limp. Decided to return, seriously overpriced for basic foam and it didn’t get to shape. I think the material seemed quite nice though. I wanted to like this bed, but just didn’t meet the standards for the price tag.

Dog chooses this bed over ours! Very comfortable for him, he rests his head on the sides, plenty of room for him to stretch out and he loves it! A good nights sleep all round!

My 16 year old beloved Spitz is now incontinent, hence why i spent so much on this bed.She had an accident last night and i have removed the covers to wash, expecting the foam to have been protected. It has not, so now i have to try and wash the foam - literally twice the work of washing a normal dog bed.I am beyond unimpressed - this is not the product i expected or paid forI do not recommend this product

Great bed, dog loves it!

Lovely bed but the cover is difficult to keep clean. Having to wash every couple of days. Stains easily. Dog’s loves it.
