...may bounce off if you hit a big bump.The handles of the basket are what secure it to the bike after mounting the basket to the bike. If you want to remove your basket at your destination it is quick and easy, just lift the handles and off you go with your basket. However if you hit a big bump and the handle raise up, you could lose your basket mid-ride like I did. This was easily remedied with a few twisties on each handle to secure them down onto the basket.The basket is sturdy and looks great- even after the accidental ejection. I would buy it again, just secure it in place after mounting to bike.

Not bad easy to install once I straighted out the mounting bracket that came bent up. Knocked one star off for the bent bracket. Nice color that went well with the wife's bike color. Good size basket that is easy to instal and take off. Came with no mounting instructions but after playing around with it a little I figured out how the basket was supposed to be put on the mounting bracket and taken off. You lift the handles straight up to mount the basket into the mounting bracket, then when the handles are dropped back down they lock the basket in.

Easy to install

Very easy to install. I had to rotate my brake levers a bit so they wouldn't hit the bike carrier. Seems pretty sturdy. I put my pet carrier inside the metal bike carrier and take our 7lb dog for rides.

Bought this basket because I preferred its looks to the ones sold in my local bike shop. Easy to install on my bike, but I noticed that one of the two “hooks” that holds the bottom of the basket wasn’t curved quite enough to engage as fully as the other one. It worked well enough though, so off I went.I rode over a small bump on the bike path and instantaneously the entire basket flew off of my bike, spilling my belongings all over the path and destroying the plastic top of my Hydroflask. The bump caused the handles to disengage, releasing the basket.The local bike shop guy very kindly adjusted the malformed “hook” and zip-tied the handles down so there would be no more surprise releases, but this means that in order to remove the basket, I’ll have to cut the zip-ties.“This is why I don’t sell these baskets in the shop,” he said.

Its nice, just waiting to see if the person getting it for Christmas likes it.

Fast shipping! Great quality, beautiful color and so sturdy. Fits my 9 lb yorkie and 3 lbs yorkie no problem and still have wiggle room. Absolutely would recommend this bike rack 💯
