Toyo Thousand Paper Cranes Origami 7cm, 50 Colors, 1000 Sheets

I love working with the thinner paper. Certainly it is cheaper, but also easier to fold. 1000 sheets are a great bargain. I wish it were a full 3” on a side. I might not have bought it had I noticed that it wasn’t. But it works well anyway.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I'm not disappointed with my purchase. Things I thought I wouldn't like turned out to be fine. I originally did not like the color was only one sided, but really you can't see the white side if folded well. Second, people said the paper bleeds, but it's really very minimal. I love the colors included. They are not organized by color, but it's kinda fun picking from different parts of the stack to see what new color you'll get. The size is just smaller than your standard sticky note which was exactly what I was looking for. Hope you enjoy as much as I have!

[CAUTION]: Keep in mind that this origami paper is quite small! Pros: • 50 vibrant colors to choose from • not construction paper-like origami paper -> I used to use Aitoh's origami paper, and the quality of Toyo's paper is exactly like Aitoh's = crisp, smooth paper (a win in my book!) • 1000 sheets of paper • Made in Japan Cons: • the gold & silver paper sucks, it's more a gimmick than practical origami paper • for darker colored origami paper, the dye will come off onto your hands and table Verdict: Definitely worth a buy if you're looking to make smaller origami! If you want bigger origami paper, try out Aitoh's origami paper :)

Paper worked well for the project in my classroom! However, the colors are all mixed together, so be prepared to sort if you need multiple sheets of the same color.

This is a great set if you want to work on a senbazuru, or any other project! I haven't worked through all of the colors yet, but there seems to be a good assortment. The paper is pretty small, so keep that in mind if you're looking for bigger pieces. It's also thinner than some other origami papers. My only gripe so far is the metallic pieces are a little tougher to fold as they can tend to crinkle up a bit if you're not careful.

I bought these for collage work rather than origami, because it includes so many colors. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered - these are very small as compared to the origami sheets I'm used to, but I'm still happy with it. Just be aware that these are pretty small.

These papers are super thin and easy to tear but they do get the job done and look great in the end!

The paper is easily folded and works for most small simple origami. The paper is soft and leaves no paper cuts. It took several months but I managed to fold the 1000 cranes and the color variety is looks good in jars.

If you want small sheets this exactly it. Lots of colours and gold and silver too. I've already made dozens of tiny cranes, frogs and ninja stars. The paper texture is perfect as some can be too thin or stiff etc will buy again.

Ich bin rund um zufrieden. Preis Leistun passt, Qualität passt, Lieferzeit passt, Verpackung passt. Die Farbauswahl ist super, pro Farbe hat man etwas 20 Blatt zur verfügung. Das Papier eignet sich unter anderem für das Langzeitprojekt 1000 Kraniche zu falten und bietet dabei auch eine schöne Abwechslung dank der unterschiedlichen Farben. Die Papierqualität ist durchgehend gut und gleichbleibend bis auf Gold und Silber, die Papierquadrate sind etwas anders lassen sich aber trotzdem gut falten. Papier lässt sich super, scharf und sehr sauber falten, hat für mich eine angenehme Stärke und ist quadratisch. Sehr von Vorteil ist auch die Papierboxverpackung in der das ganze geliefert wird, sie ist zwar dünn aber schützt das Papier gut genug beim Transport und lässt sich auch nach dem öffnen weiter verwenden. So kann man das Papier immer wieder in die Box legen und dort lagern. Oft bleiben Origamipapiere schnell aus, darüber kann ich hier leider nocht nichts aussagen werde das aber bei gegebener Zeit nachtragen.

This paper is incredible. The colours are beautiful, it folds so crisply and well and makes very attractive origami for either practice or display. I used this paper to fold 99 paper cranes for a gift and they came out looking amazingly good. I have also used it for folding various geometric origami shapes, and they have all come out both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing because the paper is of such excellent quality.
