I bought this as a gift for a friend who likes crafts. She loved receiving it. I don't know if she's made it yet or not.

This was a gift for my daughter in law for Christmas. She loves all kinds of crafts so it seemed to me that she would love this. And I was correct. I think this makes a great gift for anyone that wants to try their hand at wood carving.

This was fun for my first time carving soap stone. At a certain point when I wanted a little more detail I used my own dremel to finish it up. Still a good kit if you want to just try it out.

I got my two older kids and my husband one of these for Christmas and they all loved them! They were very easy to use and made them feel like they really created something awesome when they were finished. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something creative to get your kids off electronics even if it's only for a little bit. 😉

We got these for Christmas and they were a big hit with both kids! Boy 12 & girl 11. We went with the bear and cat and they had so much fun. They each learned new things and got something to keep at the end. They already want to make another!

I opened the package before wrapping it. Everything is small but looks like it will be enjoyed.

Comes in a nicely laid out box with a diorama and instructions. The box feels a bit big for what you actually get, as the blank fits in the palm of my hand quite easily. The included rasp feels a little cheap, but that’s probably something that’d need replacing anyway if this was to become a regular hobby. I’m not sure I’m happy with the price I paid, as the price has gone down since I made my purchase a week ago.

This was a gift but arrived in plenty of time and as described.

I like that this is geared towards kids to expand their artistic horizons. It’s easy and fun. The rasp file is good to remove bulk material, but is too course for fine work. As well, the wax pellet used to protect the finished product melts easily and was found to be melted and absorbed into the container that the kit was packaged in. Overall a really nice product.

Takes 4 + hours My 8 year old jept cutting his hands on the cheese grater /sanding device. Maybe should come with gloves. Messy craft , is very fun and turns out so unique great gift be better for older children teens or adults. 12 year old enjoyed it and watched YouTube instructional videos and happy with outcome, but took alot of work and more time then expected. Good craft unique not or little ones
