This toddler stool has been one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon! My little one uses it daily whether it’s reaching the sink to wash hands, helping in the kitchen, or brushing teeth and it’s made a huge difference in encouraging independence. I love this step stool. I bought another stool first because I wanted something that would take up less space than the step ladder we were using. I also thought I wanted it to be foldable. However, the previous step stool didn’t work for my kid. He had difficulty stepping up because the steps narrow and there was no grip. This Skip Hop step stool is great! My kid has plenty of space to step up and the grips prevent him from slipping. He’s able to step up on his own with little assistance. He’s still a little to short to reach the sink completely, but he will one day.

It's compact and cute. Our 2 year old had trouble getting the bigger stool to lock in place on the smaller one, but that's what parents are for. It's pretty cool, I wish that the stocks would actually lock together in the step up position not just when the small stool is under the large one.

Perfect size for toddler as they grow. Sturdy and light enough kiddo can put it away on their own.

Sturdy. Great height. I love that the two steps can be used by themselves or together. And when used together they sort of lock together so ensure there’s no sliding between the two. My daughter loves washing her hands or just looking at herself in the mirror.

The step stool overall is OK, it fits in my small bathroom without taking up a ton of space. The only problem is that this is for my 2 yr old and the step, especially the bottom step is very narrow. So, she has to be very careful when she tries to step down to get off the stool or most of the time I just lift her off myself. It is very sturdy for her to stand on, again my only fear is that she could fall when she is trying to turn or step backwards to get down as the steps are so narrow. Typically she is only in the bathroom supervised and has help but, we all know how little can be especially when they love playing in water (stool is used at the bathroom sink).

Great stool. Our todfler has used it all around the house. We have used it in seoerate pieces and locked together. Very sturdy. Has never accidentally come apart.

My son has been using these for a while now and loves them. When he was shorter layering worked but now he uses them independently. Easy to clean, sturdy and lightweight.
