Awesome sucker
Greater than expected suction. Especially for the price. Its light weight and easy to maneuver. We have all tile floors. I'm surprised at how much cleaner my home stays overall. Way less dusting than with a broom. Nothing gets kicked up into the air.

GREAT SUCTION & LIGHT WEIGHT
THIS SMALL VACUUM CLEANER IS LIGHT WEIGHT BUT PLASTIC ISN'T AS GOOD AS MY OLD MIGHTY MIGHT. THE HOSE IS CHEAPLY MADE BUT WORKS FINE FOR MY USE. I DO LIKE THE TOOLS BEING ATTACHED TO THE BODY SO NOT TO LOSE ANYTHING. IT HAS GREAT POWER & IS EASY TO USE. IT HAS SEVERAL TOOLS AS WELL AS A BRUSH FOR DUSTING. IT HAS A LONG ATTACHED CORD & THE HOSE IS LONGER AS WELL.

Perfect little machine - know your needs
My needs - I have a house with laminate flooring and large and small rugs, wool and synthetic, carpeted stairs, and upstairs is entirely carpet. (I haven't tried cleaning the car yet, no doubt that's going to be a success.) First off, this machine has outstanding suction. I've had it one week and there's a lever on the top you can push to allow air flow for vacuuming back and forth or just single flow for straight suction and it get the job done. There is so much suction created around it that it's even coated in wool rug fibers or dog hair that didn't make it inside. I don't even need to go back twice, the suction is so good. Be prepared, it feels incredibly lightweight, maybe even cheap. I thought, how can this thing be well made? But it does everything I need it to do. The lightweight factor is wonderful when vacuuming each carpeted stair and dragging it up and down the stairs. So, this is actually a huge plus. There are 2 pipes that you connect for length when vacuuming the floor. On the stairs I take one pipe out and the length is perfect. The head is wide enough that it's effective for vacuuming (again, one stroke works for my short length rugs), but it's flat enough that it fits under everything - low chairs, couches, etc. If I push the lever on the head down flat, I can't draw it back and forth easily (the suction is too strong), but it's flat, so I can push it waaay back under the couches and get that dust that is so hard to reach without moving the couches. This is a big plus for me. The pipes all connect by friction, just pushing them together. Sometimes they pop off if you catch something and pull too hard, but my last ($450) vacuum (which was heavier but I loved) broke beyond repair when the connector to the head snapped where there was a locking mechanism, and that part is now discontinued. So frustrating!! So, this little vacuum seems like it will be less likely to "snap" anywhere because the parts will disconnect under pressure. I hope that turns out to be the case. My son assembled the unit and I used it right away. Forgot to add a bag and I was very upset - but the bag is inside already! Well done, Eureka!! The cons to this machine, as far as I can tell after multiple uses in the first week, are that there is no automatic cord winding mechanism. But, the cord is longer than my last machine - if I plug it in the middle of the house, it reaches the ends of both sides of the house. Obviously this depends on your home, but my other vacuum was just a few feet short. I can then also vaccum the entire stairs and then move the cord 1 time to get the entire house. I don't like winding the cord, so in a pile it goes if I'm lazy. Worth it for not having to move that cord!! This is not a self propelled machine. You must push the vacuum, it does not "propel" itself with a turning brush. There is a brush, but it's not motorized. I am a reasonably strong 40+ woman and I am happy to push it, but if you have medical issues and can't push it, this could be a more physical job. I expect vacuuming to be work, so I'm fine with this and feel the low cost is worth it. I believe it also is related to the reduced weight of the machine and its tools. I hope this review is thorough and helpful for those making a decision. I never purchase warranties, but given the lightweight nature of this machine, I think I would have considered it. I paid $81 for this machine after taxes. I would definitely be described as frugal and cost conscious. Considering the varied reviews and high cost of other well rated machines, I am very happy with my purchase! I don't write reviews very often, but I want other consumers to know the pros and cons so they can make an educated decision.

Light, mighty, and handy…but not for carpets
Pros: 1) very light and easy to carry; 2) has powerful suction on bare floors and with the crevice tool; 3) very affordable price; 4) has easy to change bags (I think bagless vacuums are gross to clean especially since we have a chihuahua who sheds her body weight in fur); Cons: 1) really loud. Wear ear plugs or go deaf; 2) utterly useless on carpet; 3) handle pole extension wand too easily comes apart, so it can accidentally come apart when vacuuming under chairs, etc. Overall, I am glad that I bought this little Eureka Mighty Mite vacuum. I will still keep my heavy Kenmore for area rugs and carpets, but this Eureka does a great job on bare laminate floors and saves my back.

Super strong suck! and very lightweight. Not the best for 'every' rug.
What do I say about this little vacuum? It is AWESOME, but yet I'm still a teensy bit disappointed? I guess I was hoping for a complete upright replacement, and yeah, it isn't. I have 2 rugs of short, yet very dense pile that will still need my old upright for a deeper 'rug beater ' clean. That said, this little vac works GREAT on my bare floors (90%) of my home. Sucks dirt and particles I didnt even know I had out from under my baseboards, (using just the wand with no brush or crevice tool , a few pine needles from a 'live' Christmas tree 2 years ago came out and paint chips from a reno 7 years ago came out!) I got super nasty dust off my ceiling fans with the little brush attachment thing without significant effort on my part and likewise was able dust my winow blinds with same attachment and minimizing the level of 'suck' by opening the adjustment port on the handle. Very impressive! Still, I wish I could vacuum my two nice rugs. It works well on my Home Depot shaggy rug and my Home Depot 'Oriental' rug, but yeah either sucks too hard and get stuck on my good rugs or it just skips over the surface and doesn't suck anything. So. I am still giving 5 stars as a tool to add to my home cleaning arsenal. Truly I am impressed. That said, depending on your rug situation, be aware, it may not be great for every rug type. For me, given 90 percent of my house is hardwood floors or tile, this will be my go to the majority of the time, it gets under most of my furniture and bookcases, it's pulling stuff out of nooks and crannies on my baseboards and the seams of my couches and recliner, (goodbye Sunday binging TV cookie crumbs) it is sucking up all the dog hair dust bunnies (I have a labrador and a bulldog, although honestly, the bulldog doesn't shed much but my labrador sure does!) And without mopping, my hardwood has rarely looked this shiny. So, even though I was hoping to completely replace my upright I will say, I am very pleased with the performance of this little vac. For the price? Really, I don't think you will be dissatisfied. 5 stars after 2 hard core uses (every scenario I could think of to put it through). We'll see how it goes in 6 months. The extension poles ARE plastic, not metal, if they hold up , we'll be golden. The plastic doees keep it very light though which is why the ceiling fans weren't difficult. So I'll take it. Oh, last thing the attachments and cord stow away nicely, the wand and hose, not so much. I have a bigger utility loset so that doesn't bother me, but if you need your vacuum to be really 'tidy' in storage, you may want to take that into consideration.

Nice vacuum
Very easy to put together. I like that the attachments have a place on the vacuum so they don’t get lost. The suction was good and picked up cat hair well. I’ve always thought bagged vacuums work better than bagless ones but that’s just my opinion. It is lightweight. I’m not sure if I like where the cord wraps around.

Great on Hard Floors
This is a great vacuum if you don't have carpets and I don't. It's the best I've found for hard floors. It's lightweight, inexpensive and has lasted longer than any vacuum I have had. It has great suction. It picks up pet hair and other floor debris.

Cheap Extension Hose/Handle
Ugh, so many things are right about this vaccuum. It’s lightweight, the cord is super long, comes with extra bags and one already inserted. The suction is strong!!!! BUT like so many other people have said- why did you drop the ball on the plastic for the extension??? It bends with the weight of me pulling backwards against the suction and comes apart while I clean. It’s incredibly annoying. It takes away from how powerful the machine is because who cares if the motor is great if the hose doesn’t stay together. I would pay an extra 10-20 to have a better hose or like another reviewer said- I’d sacrifice some of the electrical cord length to have more durable/strong plastic. 4 stars because it was $60, but it’s a shame because it would be an incredible buy if not for such a silly oversight
