As good as an Electrolux and 1/10 the price.
I cannot say enough good things about this vacuum. I used to run a house cleaning company and this little vacuum has the best suction power. It is also lightweight, easy to carry or pull around on its wheels. The bag is easy to change yet lasts a while, surprisingly for such a small vacuum. I’m so happy with it. I bought three more – one for my mother, my sister, and my son. We also have one in the office. If you have an upright, get rid of it, buy this product, and you will not regret it. I also bought the attachment for hardwood floors because it has a good brush on it.

Super strong suck! and very lightweight. Not the best for 'every' rug.
What do I say about this little vacuum? It is AWESOME, but yet I'm still a teensy bit disappointed? I guess I was hoping for a complete upright replacement, and yeah, it isn't. I have 2 rugs of short, yet very dense pile that will still need my old upright for a deeper 'rug beater ' clean. That said, this little vac works GREAT on my bare floors (90%) of my home. Sucks dirt and particles I didnt even know I had out from under my baseboards, (using just the wand with no brush or crevice tool , a few pine needles from a 'live' Christmas tree 2 years ago came out and paint chips from a reno 7 years ago came out!) I got super nasty dust off my ceiling fans with the little brush attachment thing without significant effort on my part and likewise was able dust my winow blinds with same attachment and minimizing the level of 'suck' by opening the adjustment port on the handle. Very impressive! Still, I wish I could vacuum my two nice rugs. It works well on my Home Depot shaggy rug and my Home Depot 'Oriental' rug, but yeah either sucks too hard and get stuck on my good rugs or it just skips over the surface and doesn't suck anything. So. I am still giving 5 stars as a tool to add to my home cleaning arsenal. Truly I am impressed. That said, depending on your rug situation, be aware, it may not be great for every rug type. For me, given 90 percent of my house is hardwood floors or tile, this will be my go to the majority of the time, it gets under most of my furniture and bookcases, it's pulling stuff out of nooks and crannies on my baseboards and the seams of my couches and recliner, (goodbye Sunday binging TV cookie crumbs) it is sucking up all the dog hair dust bunnies (I have a labrador and a bulldog, although honestly, the bulldog doesn't shed much but my labrador sure does!) And without mopping, my hardwood has rarely looked this shiny. So, even though I was hoping to completely replace my upright I will say, I am very pleased with the performance of this little vac. For the price? Really, I don't think you will be dissatisfied. 5 stars after 2 hard core uses (every scenario I could think of to put it through). We'll see how it goes in 6 months. The extension poles ARE plastic, not metal, if they hold up , we'll be golden. The plastic doees keep it very light though which is why the ceiling fans weren't difficult. So I'll take it. Oh, last thing the attachments and cord stow away nicely, the wand and hose, not so much. I have a bigger utility loset so that doesn't bother me, but if you need your vacuum to be really 'tidy' in storage, you may want to take that into consideration.

Great budget vaccum
This vacuum does a great job for its price point. I had a Dyson previously that kept losing battery and just wasn't very powerful and this vacuum definitely fixed that problem. It is super powerful and does a great job cleaning the whole house. It doesn't have the bells and whistles: the cord has to be manually let out and cleaned up, the accessories don't snap together and come apart sometimes, it is pretty loud - but I'll take those inconveniences any day as long as the vacuum works well and doesn't cost > $600. The only reason I'd not recommend this vacuum is if your house is mainly carpet or rugs. It works great on hard floors but it kept suctioning too much to the rugs/getting stuck and I had to get creative with the accessories to clean the few rugs I have.

Light, mighty, and handy…but not for carpets
Pros: 1) very light and easy to carry; 2) has powerful suction on bare floors and with the crevice tool; 3) very affordable price; 4) has easy to change bags (I think bagless vacuums are gross to clean especially since we have a chihuahua who sheds her body weight in fur); Cons: 1) really loud. Wear ear plugs or go deaf; 2) utterly useless on carpet; 3) handle pole extension wand too easily comes apart, so it can accidentally come apart when vacuuming under chairs, etc. Overall, I am glad that I bought this little Eureka Mighty Mite vacuum. I will still keep my heavy Kenmore for area rugs and carpets, but this Eureka does a great job on bare laminate floors and saves my back.

Perfect little machine - know your needs
My needs - I have a house with laminate flooring and large and small rugs, wool and synthetic, carpeted stairs, and upstairs is entirely carpet. (I haven't tried cleaning the car yet, no doubt that's going to be a success.) First off, this machine has outstanding suction. I've had it one week and there's a lever on the top you can push to allow air flow for vacuuming back and forth or just single flow for straight suction and it get the job done. There is so much suction created around it that it's even coated in wool rug fibers or dog hair that didn't make it inside. I don't even need to go back twice, the suction is so good. Be prepared, it feels incredibly lightweight, maybe even cheap. I thought, how can this thing be well made? But it does everything I need it to do. The lightweight factor is wonderful when vacuuming each carpeted stair and dragging it up and down the stairs. So, this is actually a huge plus. There are 2 pipes that you connect for length when vacuuming the floor. On the stairs I take one pipe out and the length is perfect. The head is wide enough that it's effective for vacuuming (again, one stroke works for my short length rugs), but it's flat enough that it fits under everything - low chairs, couches, etc. If I push the lever on the head down flat, I can't draw it back and forth easily (the suction is too strong), but it's flat, so I can push it waaay back under the couches and get that dust that is so hard to reach without moving the couches. This is a big plus for me. The pipes all connect by friction, just pushing them together. Sometimes they pop off if you catch something and pull too hard, but my last ($450) vacuum (which was heavier but I loved) broke beyond repair when the connector to the head snapped where there was a locking mechanism, and that part is now discontinued. So frustrating!! So, this little vacuum seems like it will be less likely to "snap" anywhere because the parts will disconnect under pressure. I hope that turns out to be the case. My son assembled the unit and I used it right away. Forgot to add a bag and I was very upset - but the bag is inside already! Well done, Eureka!! The cons to this machine, as far as I can tell after multiple uses in the first week, are that there is no automatic cord winding mechanism. But, the cord is longer than my last machine - if I plug it in the middle of the house, it reaches the ends of both sides of the house. Obviously this depends on your home, but my other vacuum was just a few feet short. I can then also vaccum the entire stairs and then move the cord 1 time to get the entire house. I don't like winding the cord, so in a pile it goes if I'm lazy. Worth it for not having to move that cord!! This is not a self propelled machine. You must push the vacuum, it does not "propel" itself with a turning brush. There is a brush, but it's not motorized. I am a reasonably strong 40+ woman and I am happy to push it, but if you have medical issues and can't push it, this could be a more physical job. I expect vacuuming to be work, so I'm fine with this and feel the low cost is worth it. I believe it also is related to the reduced weight of the machine and its tools. I hope this review is thorough and helpful for those making a decision. I never purchase warranties, but given the lightweight nature of this machine, I think I would have considered it. I paid $81 for this machine after taxes. I would definitely be described as frugal and cost conscious. Considering the varied reviews and high cost of other well rated machines, I am very happy with my purchase! I don't write reviews very often, but I want other consumers to know the pros and cons so they can make an educated decision.

Great suction
Great little vacuum lots of suction. It’s kind of loud but it really does a job. I like that it’s lightweight too is very easy to move around.

Can't be beat for the price!!
I have tile floors throughout the house and multiple pets. I can't speak to how it works on carpet but what I can say is it works great on tile. It picks up pet hair and dirt with ease. Cord length is perfect, not too long but not too short. In a 1500 sq ft house I can vacuum the entire house and I only have to move the cord once. It's very easy to use and has substantial power IMO. I've owned Sharks and Dysons in the past and compared to those vacuums which are much more expensive brands I think this is vacuum is an overall better value for my needs. I agree with other reviews stating the quality of the build is not up to par w/ the more expensive brands (plastic parts seem a bit more flimsy) but that didn't phase me. Super happy and when this one bites the dust I'll definitely be buying another.

Budget Vacuum, Big Personality (and a little electrical duct tape magic)
I just unboxed this Eureka canister vacuum today, and let me tell you, we are already on a journey together. First, the good news: assembly is easy. Like “I didn’t need coffee first” easy. Five minutes and we were ready to roll. Now, let’s talk about the telescoping extension wand situation everyone keeps complaining about (myself included). Calling it lightweight plastic is generous. Honestly, I’ve stepped on LEGO pieces sturdier than this thing. And yes, if you so much as look at it wrong while vacuuming, the wand will separate mid-clean like it’s trying to escape responsibility. HOT TIP: Wrap black electrical duct tape around the middle connection of the telescoping wand. Instant glow-up. Suddenly she’s stable, committed, and ready for a long-term relationship. I bought this vacuum for my cleaning lady because apparently my beloved Miele canister vacuum is “too much,” and my Dyson upright is “too heavy,” and somehow she thought using my Dyson stick vacuum to clean three floors made sense (it did not SMDH). So I asked Goldilocks what she wanted. She said this Eureka lightweight vacuum cleaner. And here we are. I’m $80 in, emotionally invested, and oddly at peace knowing if it breaks, I won’t need a therapy session. Performance so far: Great on hardwood floors. Flip the bristles down and this thing glides like it has purpose. Low pile rugs: MEH. Flip the bristles up and… it tries. It really does. But you can tell it’s not built for anything beyond light-duty rugs. If you have actual carpet, you’ll probably need a heavier hitter (hello again, Dyson upright). The Real Test: Suction power. I have a golden retriever. Translation: my home produces decorative fur tumbleweeds daily. Add in my own long hair shedding, and we are basically running a hair-based ecosystem over here. So far, the suction power is surprisingly strong for a budget vacuum. I’m cautiously optimistic. The real test will be how it handles ongoing pet hair, whether the attachments clog, and how annoying (or not) the dust bag replacement process is. Will report back after a few weeks of living in the trenches. Storage & Convenience. It's compact in size and fits neatly in my pantry closet (a win). Corded = no charging: Honestly refreshing. No “did I remember to plug this in?” anxiety. Final Thoughts (for now): This Eureka vacuum cleaner is like that friend who shows up slightly underdressed but still gets the job done with a little help. Would I rely on it as my one and only vacuum? No (as evidence by my three other brands and models). Is it a solid, budget-friendly vacuum for hardwood floors and light cleaning? Yes, with electrical duct tape as your co-pilot. Stay tuned… because between the dog, my hair, and real life, this vacuum is about to earn its keep.

No complaints! Awesome little vacuum with amazing suction for a great price!
EDIT: so we are 2024 now and I honestly have nothing bad to say about this little unit. I’ve had zero problems with it and 100% recommend. All the parts have stayed intact, the suction is the same as day one and it’s given me no issues whatsoever. I take mine apart and clean the hoses and attachments a couple times a year to make sure it stays that way. Change the filter out once in a while (or just wash and dry it) and never let the bag overfill. Hands down one of my best Amazon purchases! So far this is exactly what it claims to be! It’s an affordable little vacuum that has amazing suction! I LOVE that it’s so light and doesn’t put any pressure on my wrists like so many of the chargeable stick vacuums. It works wonders on pet hair and hard floors as well as short pile rugs/mats. I don’t have any carpet in my home so I can’t give any insight there. I was very hesitant because I kept reading conflicting reviews but I did a lot of research and decided it’s cheap to begin with so what do I have to lose! My last vacuum was a tineco and I spent over $500 on it (ugh) and not even a year later I’ve had so many issues I can no longer use it. You’re not always getting a high quality product the more money you spend. Also, I absolutely love that it uses bags instead of a dust bin that you have to empty. That means no dog hair or dust flying in my face during cleanup as all you have to do is remove the bag, throw it in the trash and put a new one in. I’ve been using the same bag every day for a few weeks now and haven’t had to change it yet so even though they look on the smaller side it’s been lasting quite a long time. It’s super light, easy to vacuum stairs and nooks and crannies, the cord is nice and long and I have no problems with having to manually wrap it underneath (some people complain about silly things.) I can understand the concerns about the plastic/hose seeming a bit flimsy but it’s a very inexpensive vacuum so I’m not sure what everyone was expecting. Also I’ve had no problems with the extentions coming undone while in use...I actually struggle to get them apart when I want to use the wand to get in a small space so no complaints there either! I love the little attachments that come along with it too, I’m actually excited to clean my vehicles with this vacuum, lol, as I know it’s going to work awesome! I have nothing bad to say about it this far! Hopefully I won’t have to update my post anytime soon (like I did the last vacuum I purchased from Amazon.) Don’t listen to the bad reviews, I wish I hadn’t because it’s been a great little vacuum that I really wish I had ordered sooner and saved myself so much money. That’s it, I think I covered it all! :)

Great Vacuum
Was looking for something more powerful than what I had but didn't break the bank and this vacuum fit the bill. The good: It's super light and has powerful suction. The bad: I wish there was a retractable cord but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. The one criticism I have is that the shaft is a little weak, IMO it should be more sturdy. Doesn't really affect the performance of the vacuum though. I'd give this a 4.75 if I could but that isn't an option.

This is THE vacuum
Please never stop making this vacuum eureka! This is the best vacuum ever made. Period. It is so light weight , if you have joint pain the hose/ tube is a nice size and light to clean up high. The cord is nice and long. The suction is incredible. There is no fancy cleaning , just change out the bag when needed. This thing is so durable , can clean out your garage, car, household, ceiling corners, even handles cleaning out my wood fireplace soot. I have one of these designated in every area of my home (basement, garage, main house, and mud room) - it is the best and I want to own 10 of them so I have one on hand always.
