LG 55UM7050PLC 55 inch UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV with Freeview Play - Ceramic Black Colour (2020 Model)

Not sure why, but I decided to upgrade my living room TV recently - mainly just to upgrade from 47" to 55". I didn't have a massive budget, but tend to stick with LG. I know it's silly; brand loyalty is quite frankly stupid in today's market, but I have always been pleased with LG's panels; my previous TVs have been LG, and screen quality has always been good. webOS is a bit of a turkey for me, but I rarely use it - it's surprising that webOS is so highly regarded; other manufacturers' smart TV systems must be total garbage. I'm not an avid PCMR gamer so can't comment on refresh rates or response times, but looks fine with my PS4. HDR is fine. Basically, it's all fine: this TV will not change your life, and in some areas it's distinctly average, but for a named, and respected, brand in this field, the price is very reasonable and the features it offers are impressive. Would have liked more HDMI ports, though. I've read a few negative reviews mentioning the flimsy stands, and some have collapsed on people. I thought the same at first when putting it together - I initially thought "what the hell? This cannot be right, it's going to topple the second my cat breathes on it", but then realised that the included screws actually had a purpose. Seriously, use the screws to ensure the feet are firmly attached to the unit, or it'll end in tears.

100% Love this TV every day it surprises you with new features and surprises I love the way if the TV can’t find signal you see that picture changing to different places and buildings instead of blank screen well worth the money I would recommend it I give it 100 Of 100 so glad I bought it. 👍🏻

Good pictures ,value for money.

Arrived very quickly. It was really easy to set-up and very intuitive despite having virtually no written instructions. The picture quality is fantastic and tv audio is pretty good on its own but we have a surround sound system which it recognised and works with well. Very happy with both the item and seller.

The TV ARRIVED EARLIER THAN DUE DATE, THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE TELEVISION. I EMAILED THE COMPANY, THEY WERE BRILLIANT, WITHIN THREE DAYS A NEW TV ARRIVED, THE OTHER ONE TAKEN AWAY, AND THE TV ITSELF IS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY.

It's been 4 weeks and still no TV. Amazon doesn't have a clue where it is in the warehouse. You'd think on Amazon.co.uk Amazon would be the best seller that is not the case. All that thay tell you is we will look at it tomorrow it like asking a kid if he has any homework. Picture Quality - Can't review the picture quality as it Is hard to see the screen from over 300 miles away but the wall looks crystal clear maybe even better than 4k. Value for Money - £399 and nothing to show for it speaks for it's self. Smart Features - As the TV has not shown up yet I will review the staff. Smart Features (STAFF) - Well not smart for starters how'd you lose a 55inch TV the box will be 60inches it just baffles me. P.S. my friend ordered the same TV 8 days ago from a different seller he got it 2 days later he tells me it's a really good TV great picture and sound so. THANKS AMAZON

Pros- Sound quality is good and speakers have decent bass compared to other smart TVs. UI is very slick Cons- Keeps disconnecting from WiFi when switched off over night. Also can be slow loading TV guide or other windows. Picture quality is good, although HD channels could be sharper compared to other TV modules like Samsung. Overall ok product.
