Does this razor take full, half or both sized razor blades?

A Straight Edge Razor only uses a "single edge blade or half blade", But if you have a full blade / double edge blade, then you must have to first carefully break it into the half to make it a single edge blade and then install into your Markhor Straight Edge Razor. We always send a User Manual Guide to our buyers along with the purchase of Markhor Straight Razor, So even a beginner can learn with infographics printed on Markhor User Guide. That how simply but carefully to break any double edge blade into a half single edge blade, and then step by step guide for how to Install that blade into your Markhor Straight Razor.

Is this razor pk for someone whos only eber used Gillette razors ?

It’s for whoever wants to use a cutthroat blade. Whether you’re experienced with it or not. It’s the first one I ever used and it worked great. You just have to get used to a new technique. Razors come separately in many brands which most have a universal design so they fit all blade holders. I used ‘Derby blades’ myself.

Can I use with a shorter balde ?

Sorry, did not understand what did you mean about "shorter blade" Although our razor is compatible with all brands of standard size "Double Edge Blades" as well with "Single Edge Blades".
