Sunnydaze 30" Fairy Shell Outdoor Garden Fountain with Bronze Patina Finish

This whimsical water feature is an attraction for both the birds and my garden. The color is almost a teal with gold highlights rather than verdigris. It comes in several pieces which are easily assembled. The only thing that may be challenging is connecting the Cala lily tube to the pump. I found the easiest way was to assemble the fairy and gently tip her facedown into the shell (don’t add the water until fully assembled) and thread the Cala tube through the opening and then attach it to the pump. Finally fill’er up and wait for the birds! This garden ornament is big enough for the birds to perch on and drink from, easy to put together, sounds pretty, and looks great. What’s not to love? BTW, I purchased an inexpensive flower container for it to sit on so it is easier to see in my garden.

I have other more expensive fountains in my garden but I fell in love with this fairy fountain when I saw it in a clients garden and knew I needed to have one. It is pretty good size and I wanted it on a pedestal which isn’t included. Installed it in a memorial rose garden for my husband and it looks lovely among the roses

Although this fountain has increased in price I think it's worth it. It is absolutely beautiful. I had an issue while putting it together and contacted customer service. They responded quickly and sent a replacement. I had it running all summer and never had a problem with it. I just cleaned it and put it up for the winter so it wouldn't freeze.

It was packaged very carefully so there was no damage. It was very quick and easy to assemble and works great! It’s a beautiful addition to our garden. Added a waterproof light that makes it really pretty at night.

It really is a good looking piece. Our bird's will love it. It unfortunately shipped without the flowers (kinda important when that's where the water flows out of). I've contacted the seller and will modify my rating based on their timely response. Update: The seller contacted me (fast response!) and is sending the missing item. Timely response, friendly and no hoops to jump through. I've adjusted my rating to 5 stars based on the beauty of the fountain, great packaging and excellent customer service.

Update: Upped from 2 stars to 3. 5 stars for the seller. The company was very kind and helpful. A replacement was sent. It also had issues, but we were able to use a dremel tool to make the wings fit more securely. They are aware that there is a manufacturing flaw and hopefully that can be resolved. It’ a beautiful fountain! Still recommend a stronger pump. It appears as though there was a defect in the mould use to make this resin statue. The cradle depth for the wings was too shallow and broke through the resin, exposing the hollow shell of the figurine. In rainy weather, water could get into the figurine be trapped. The wings also didn't fit the shape of the cradle and wouldn't stay in. With the product I received, they would need to be glued in. The fairy also is unstable on the shell and could easily blow off with moderate wind. Lastly, the pump provided is very weak and I would recommend buying a stronger pump. Pretty design and presentation but not great quality.

I love the appearance and sound of this fountain and the fact that is low to the ground so it blends in nicely for the spot it is in among my flower garden. Also bought it because of it being low that other little creatures can wet their whistle while visiting my backyard - squirrels, bunnies, who know what else - some big birds, wish I could say chipmunks! The little pump is nicely doing its thing but here's my suggestion: it is extremely difficult to get the tube back into the pump the way it is designed. Unless I am doing something very wrong, I have to take the fairy off its base, get the pump inside and then lean the fairy over so I can attach the tubing into between her legs and onto the cooper funnel from the flower that goes between her legs and into the opening. Probably hard to follow - sorry. Another recommendation - from my previous fountain, it had a concrete stone that blocked the entrance to where the pump was but allowed enough water in to of course make the fountain flow. But that, prevented a lot of the debris from getting through so I didn't have to clean the pump that much -even a small screen that could slide in and out for be good for that opening. Just sayin' but I do love it, and love the sound that it emits as the water drops from the calla lily in her hands to the clam shaped bowl. It is very light weight as opposed to the heavy concrete one previously. I will bring this in during the winter months.

I love the unique design and that the local birds and bees hang out on it. This fountain has a large and deep bowl that honey bees could drown in if they fall in. So you’ll want to create some kind of island (rock or floating thing) that they can swim to and climb on. Note: I plan to cover the opening to the well with a bit of screen to keep debris out of the pump.
