Micah Trace and the Shattered Gate (Traceverse Series Book 1)

This is a book. A book has pages. As far as pages go, these pages are pretty good, fantastic even! From the first chapter I found myself pulled in with intrigue, excited to see how each page progressed from one to the next. The imagery was vivid, the characters relatable, and the character building itself remarkable. I was even pleasantly surprised to see color theory applied, which is rare to find in a book. Overall the author builds remarkable visualizations that I was able to graphically see in my minds eye, long after I finished the book itself. Definitely a must read for anyone who enjoys sci-fi, or even just contemplating society and what it means to be apart of it!

Just finished Micah Trace and the Shattered Gate, and am anxiously awaiting Book #2! The premise is really original, the characters are interesting and well-developed, and the storyline grabs you from the first chapter! Eric Swanson has written a great beginning to his series. I hope he releases the next one soon!

From the exciting beginning, the author carries us on a journey that captures the imagination. Don’t let your mind wander even for a moment because so much is happening through the many characters of this first book in the Traceverse series! Can’t wait for book 2! I would recommend this to anyone who has ever even thought about life on other planets and who enjoys a good futuristic read!

Great book. Love it. Keeps you in suspence and wanting more. Once you start reading it you won't want to put it down. Can't wait for book 2.

A great science fiction story utilizing believable, realistic aspects of life on another world and space travel creating suspense for what comes next!

I received this book as a gift and was completely blown away by the story from start to finish. I am super excited to read the next book in the series.
