Mr. Heater MH9BX-Massachusetts/Canada approved portable Propane Heater

I picked up the Mr. Buddy Heater for camping trips and emergency backup heat, and I have to say, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. This little heater throws out an impressive amount of heat for its size and works like a charm in cold conditions. Heat Output & Performance I was honestly shocked at how well this thing heats up a space. It warms up my tent, garage, and even my small cabin in no time. The heat output is evenly distributed, so I don’t end up with just one super-hot spot while the rest of the space stays cold. On the highest setting, it’s seriously powerful, and I’ve used it in near-freezing temps without any issues. Portability & Ease of Use This heater is super portable and lightweight, which makes it easy to take anywhere. The built-in handle is really convenient, and it doesn’t take up much space. The piezo ignition makes starting it up effortless—just turn the knob and press the button, and it fires right up. Safety Features & Reliability I love that it has built-in safety features like the oxygen depletion sensor and tip-over shutoff. It gives me peace of mind when using it in enclosed spaces (with proper ventilation, of course). I’ve used it for hours at a time, and it runs reliably without any weird smells or issues. If you need heat without electricity, then this is the way to go. It works indoors and outside. Even though it gets way too hot inside on the lowest setting, it is absolutely a “must-have” for camping in cooler temperatures. Just don’t forget the sensor.

She is everything I always hoped she would be! Easy to use and ignited like a charm. The price is excellent and the quality is as expected. It took over a month to receive her, but well worth the wait for the value. In a power outage, we have optional ways to stay warm. We are so pleased, we immediately ordered another one along with racks to hold our stove fan. Thanks for a great product.

Came nicely packaged, but it did have a steel cable that took some doing to get it off. The on/off knob is a bit tight to get working. The press down to engage the clicker to get the fire started was extremely hard to push. It works as expected, throws off a nice heat. It has hook holes in the back, which allows it to be used in multiple ways. Hang on the wall, or sit on a stand or floor is possible. Great value for the cost! Comes with a handle to carry when needed. Appears to be made of a mixture of metals and heavy-duty plastic.

No smell, shut off if it tips over, lightweight, easy to start, lasts for a long time, wish the heat output was a little better but overall worth it!

Excellent heater. Easy to use and puts out some serious heat. On low the portable propane tank will last a good 6 hours or more. We used this camping in a a tall 10 x 10 tent in the snow, even with ventilating it kept the tent warm and comfortable. Well made heater,solid construction.

Works great

This is the 3rd one I've bought. If you understand the limitations these are great. They will heat a room or tent that's about 144sqft with no problem. At low setting you'll get about 5 hours of heat. They have never failed me and are a joy in those very cold mornings in my tent. However, priming the heater takes quite a few attempts when you first use it, so just be patient. It may take 15-20 attempts at the first lighting.
