Good Book!
I like this book very much- it has a bunch of photos of items, the word in English, the word in Thai, and the word in Thai-English. It works well to talk with the book in font of me while talking with my Thai in-laws. I have learned how to count in Thai to 100 . . . I have much to learn from this book- I truly recommend it if you are sincere about communicating in Thai.

Always helpful
This book is such a creative way to study everyday Thai. The pictures are great and the situations are very useful. It's a good help when you want to review basics in Thai. I recommend this.

Great value with minor shortcomings
This will be a useful book as I learn Thai. The design is beautiful, and apparently the publisher has been around since 1832--yes, 1832. It could have had a slightly larger Thai font for us beginners. A better consonant and vowel table would have been nice, as would have been a summary Thai tone table. But...you can just print these from the internet and stick them in the book!

Love it!
I’ve had it for a couple months and I use it whenever I study Thai. It’s very useful, with the pictures pronunciations paired with the pictures, and it’s also a hardcover, which is a lot easier to take care of than paperback. Great purchase!

Ripped book on the back
i order new Thai Picture Dictionary but when i open the box made me a bit disappointed because it was ripped on the back, what’s thr point to get the new one!! the book looks new j side only one thing that bad was on the back of the book was ripped

Could have been better
I feel that this book was rushed, there are definitely more important words that need to be in this book than others. For example, the words: nuclear energy, ophthalmology, and skeletal system are in this book, but not shave, dress, or entrance. Also, the book could have had consisted of more pages because many words do not have visuals and are instead listed as "additional vocabulary". It's okay for the beginner, but the more advanced learner should look at Collins Thai Visual Dictionary.

Book cover is not what is inside
If it is all about common words that use when you are on the street, it should be a pocket size book (not this size). The book cover show specific Thai words but inside are about common word use everywhere :-(

Ótimo livro para self-study!
Maravilha de livro pra vocabulário. Os áudios online ajudam bastante também. Tinha o ebook desse livro, mas senti a necessidade de ter ele físico também. Os livros de tailandês da Tuttle são ótimos. Também tenho o "Easy Thai" e o "Reading and Writing Thai", e eles se complementam muito bem!

Brilliant visual dictionary.
Hard back, great photos and illustrations and every two pages cover a useful topic, plus example phrases. As a dictionary it might not be as in-depth as many would like but for beginners/intermediate learners its a very attractive way to delver deeper into the language. Highly recommend. Thank youTuttle and especially the author, the well-known Thai language master, Kru Jintana Rattanakhemakorn.
