Gardenia, White August Beauty Flower, 4 Inch Pot

They came and were healthy, shiny, and ready to plant. No problems at all. They’re thriving on my patio.

The plants were in really good shape. They had good root systems on them. I immediately transplanted them into 4 inch seedling pots so they can develop new roots and growth so they can be planted in the ground when they are ready. Very pleased with how healthy they were.

I bought this about a month ago. Taking it out of the box I was kind of shocked about its small size and the three/four little, almost bare branches. I've watered this and set it in a sunny window and it has flourished quite a bit. There are plenty of bright colored leaves and it has grown almost four inches or so. A quick guesstimation as I haven't measured it. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting one of these.

I was very disappointed, as I read the reviews for this plant! My plant came with about 4 leaves on it, not even a chance of having buds on it! Witin a week all the leaves died. I worked really hard to try to bring it back. No suck luck. It died! I will not order again. I was so looking forward to seeing and smelling the beautiful blooms. I got one from Stop and Shop florist. It is doing beautiful! Nice and green, waiting for it to bloom.

It’s alive, but the smallest, most pathetic gardenia ever. Reminds me of Charlie Browns Christmas tree. I feel sorry for the poor thing, so I’m going to keep it and try to save it. It was well packaged, but ridiculously overpriced. No blooms.

The gardenia plant arrived healthy and was larger than other plans I had ordered from the seller. I replanted it into better soil and a larger pot, using Neptune's Harvest on it. It has been growing and has 2 buds about to open. If you don't mind a small cutting and it gets shipped to you in a timely manner, it will eventually make a decent plant.

This is my third gardenia. I've already killed two other gardenias, but it's hard to stay away when they're so beautiful! I received my gardenia (with another plant, a banana plant, that I also ordered) two days ago, a day before the earliest projected delivery date! I was incredibly happy and surprised to receive them on Thursday instead of Friday. And the gardenia was gorgeous out of the box! It's rather small, with only two branches, but they're beautiful and leafed out! The plant had no brown or yellow leaves when I opened the box - just the pretty glossy green leaves that gardenias are known for. I'm incredibly pleased and have high hopes of doing well with this gardenia!

This start was received quickly and in good health. It was well packaged and appears to have more than one baby plant in it. I I’m looking forward to planting it, and having lovely nicely scented flowers in the near future.
