I suffer from carpal tunnel & it's progressed up my arms & into my elbows. Even sleeping with wrist & forearm support, I still wake up with tingling, stiff fingers & burning elbow pain. I had purchased this product in a regular sport pack, but would have to ice or heat the areas one side at a time. This style is a godsend!! When my elbows or wrist are inflamed, I can strap one of these on both sides & not have to sit & hold in place. I can begin to get relief while still going about preparing for the day. Even better is the fact that it doesn't freeze into a solid sheet of ice, which can actually become very painful. With the smart beads, you get just the right amount of flexible cold or heat that you may need, without causing more harm than good. Very durable product & I highly recommend!!

I use this in the mornings when my face is swollen from pounding 300 Miller Lites the night before. In reality, I keep it in my freezer. I've had this over a year now. Take a look below... Never freezes stiff, or have to thaw it out. Even right out of the freezer it is malleable. Stays cold for a considerable amount of time. None of the plastic has cracked or torn. The velcro is still in good shape. I've attached a picture of me holding it in my hand with a Keystone Light in the background for scaling. As you can see, the pad is more ideal for target locations like, eyes, knee, elbow, etc.

Used this many times. My old one had a seam break and the internal granules began to spill out. Like the product so much that I repurchased.

I purchased this product to address joint and muscle pain. I normally use cold therapy, but decided to try to hot therapy first since it took lees time to warm the pack than freeze it. Following the manufacturers instructions I heated the pack. It did not warm well I had to heat it twice. Also it did not stay warm for more than 5 minutes. Since I usually use cold therapy I then put the room temperature pack in the freezer for about 4 hours. When I went to use it, the pack was somewhat cold, however it didn't stay cold for more than 5 minutes. I will say that the pack is very comfortable and stays in place well, however, the cold/hot feature is not up to par. I am returning it.

I have used this for icing tennis elbow. It conforms nicely to the elbow. The Velcro strap is immensely handy for keeping it in place while doing other things. This oval shaped pack is thinner than the rectangular shaped Sports Pack, and thus does not stay cold as long, but I find that I don't need to place any cloth between my skin and this pack at all because of it being too cold. (As a side note, the rectangular shaped Sports one stays cold longer since it is thicker, which I like for icing my shoulder and larger body parts. I use a bandana to wrap the rectangular shaped one up in to protect my skin until it warms up a bit.)

I used this product on my elbow when I hurt it a few weeks ago. It was absolutley amazing! I put it in the freezer for about two hours and was able to then put it on my elbow for almost 30 minutes before I needed to put it back in the freezer. It is so much better than using frozen peas or any other frozen vegetable as they never really mold to your body part and there is no way to secure them, the strap is a wonderful feature. I have many of the TheraPearl Products and use them any time I have an ache or a pain. I have a few that I keep out to put in the microwave for heat and a few that live in the freezer.

The heated version is a miracle……..helps relieve the neuropathy pain in my legs.

I'm not sure if the quality lowered from this brand, but my other hot/cold pack seems like it is such better quality than this one that I got in the mail. Also, it states "with strap" but the package never had it inside, so another disappointment. It heated up in the microwave fine, but has a very plastic smell that I hope might get better with on-going use, as I never experienced this issue with the same one I purchased from TheraPearl many years ago.

I freeze it and use it on my sunburn itch...works wonders!!! Had another one for years but it finally gave out. If this one lasts half as long, I will be more than satisfied.

This didn’t really work for what it’s intended use is - my husband tried to use it for his ankle and it barely stayed cold for 5 minutes, nowhere near an ice pack equivalent, and because of the design the bag is too thick and the balls coldness doesn’t really through to the skin.

It is a average product. The gel pearls are sparse and so the cooling is also not very effective. Costly product but worthless.
